The end result looks great - but I don't see the point in the initial wash over the sand base, since any resulting shadows seem to get completely covered by the uniform colors. Whatever depth there is seems to be the result of your final wash. Nice job, though!

Nice paint job on small figures. But FYI the grease gun is all metal. No wooden parts. Otherwise, very well done.

Sorry , but a "grease gun" has no wooden parts. (the machine gunner you are painting)

Good job, but I preffer use smaller brush, I think that you put to much paint on the mini and the details disapear.
The washes brush is too big aswell.
Try to paint with smaller brushes. 👍🏻

I think in the end, your terrain is better than the figure :) I think you could have given the figure a bit more detail. But over all, good looking all the same. Standing up, looking down at him on a table in a wargame, he will look fine. The recent Italeri are quite good. Beats a lot of older era figures like Airfix Classics (too much flash in a lot of cases)..

1/72 is a scale that is sadly overlooked for wargaming which is a shame because it's cheap, easy to store and covers most periods in history (including Napoleonic) 😉

1/72 is the cool scale, have you tried Ceasar Miniatures?

Too much paint. It’s covering up a lot of the details. If you have less paint on your brush you’ll be able to paint more detail
