  • Join me as I take a quick test ride, exploring the new Triumph Trident 660 - a great motorcycle that's sure to thrill riders of all levels. This bike is great for all riders - from beginners to experienced. Unveil the essence of British engineering and style as this middleweight roadster sets new standards in the motorcycle world. I will give a quick review and initial thoughts on my first ride of this motorcycle.
Triumph never fails to impress with its cutting-edge technology, and the Trident 660 is no exception. Powering the Trident 660 is their new iteration of the classic inline-three engine, delivering a blend of torque and horsepower.
Is it truly a game-changer in the middleweight roadster segment? Does it live up to the Triumph legacy? I'd say so.
See you on the road! 🏍️🤘

I'm looking to purchase one today. The dealership has the 2023 for $6,999. I've waited two years for this very moment..

@@phillipsnell7188Still a solid choice, I bet you’ll love it. Keep the rubber side down!

They're targeting beginners or those who are upgrading from a 300-400, so I think that's the reason why they put a delay on the throttle when going from a stop/stand still.
Also, I've read some comments from owners that say this "issue" was gone after the first maintenance, so it could be a software setting for break in period.

It’s possible; people have mentioned it’s fixed with an aftermarket tune. Who knows why they programmed it that way. I did another video comparing the before and after the first maintenance. Go check that one out and let me know what you think!

This is a awesome bike & does have a remap at first service which improves bike slightly as does changing the run in oil for good stuff.I have one & ordered it with the Quick Shifter which makes this bike Boogie & easily keep up with bigger bikes & Quick Shifter is a must.First mods should be Quick Shifter when ordered & a radiator guard & frame sliders
    (crash bars).

The mirrors are really good & seat is plush.I took it easy running my bike in & RPM set to 4000rpm for first 300miles.
A combination if things like new bike & run in oil run in settings cause throttle hesitation but after new good oil & remap gets better & you get use to bike also.Downshift
are amazing with Quick Shifter & up shifts are better when Ron's are higher bike really flies.Quick Shifter is a game changer.I got fender Extenders on front & rear to keep bike cleaner at front & installed
Evotech Tail Tidy which improves looks heaps.Head light at night is extremely good & dash is very good & easy to use. Also get Bobbins,Quick Shifter & frame sliders when buying bike & frame sliders & bobbins protect bike if dropped.

@ruahinesrider I dropped mine 😢to the left side but just damaged engine alternator cover. I'm getting it replaced for £190 but asking them to put on engine protective covers too. I have the frame sliders and large bobbins too but the left side case protrudes more. I dropped it because I took my helmet off and hung it on my new triumph sport bar end mirrors. It slipped off and I lurched forward to catch it, causing me to lose balance. Luckily my new mirrors were OK because my arm took a bruising! Oh Well I'll learn.

@@jadonx Oh ok I wondered about the left side.I got frame sliders which I like the look of over the R&G or Evotech round style but they do stick out more.Another way to protect left side is alternator cover or the set of 3 engine covers.
