On top of that, you have only shown ab*cd multiplication. How would you multiply abc*def types using this trick and that would further complicate the multiplication process. What about decimal multiplication, ab*cd*ef multiplication or abcd*efgh multiplication or higher digits multiplication? What is the point of learning a trick that's not only limited but also can be solved faster the normal way? If you people can't perform basic multiplication and addition to come up with the same results then you should learn that instead of this.

I am not disagreeing with anything shown on this video. But the example nos. chosen are small. Try doing 789 and if you keep drawing lines then you will take longer time than solving the puzzle.
