The way he incorporates jazz, swing, and electroswing elements so seamlessly is part of what impresses me so much. And his post-processing is gonna give Taras a run for his money at some point. He's good enough and clean enough with it that he deserves mentioning in the same sentence.

The only reason I believe I know how he's doing the double hollow whistle is from anatomy class when learning how to be an EMT and some attention to detail. k. So. If you watch closely, the first part of the hollow whistle is an exhale. We all know this. The second part, though, is an inhale. The reason I think it's an exhale is the sounds that immediately follow are made my exhaling. Specifically, at 2:10 or so when the beat gets more complex, he's pursing his lips and exhaling. He's able to exhale because he's inhaling the second hollow whistle. It's an absolutely disgusting level of control and efficiency with his breathing. Again, not a beatboxer (just a fan) and it's all pure speculation on my part.
