My god this is the best bouldering film I've seen in a very long time. Such a perfect blend of vintage and modern filming. This combined with an absolutely stacked crew makes it completely singular. Well done to all involved!
The first KIR felt as if I was watching an instagram video due to it's incredibly fast editing, music, and overall energy, regardless it's still one of my favourite videos of all time. However, KIR2 found the balance between climbing, DNB, community, and everything else, and I felt that I could take my time and enjoy this video on a whole new level. Well done Rene and Gregoire, and everyone else who worked on/in this video, it was well worth the wait and no doubt will I be rewatching this a myriad.
This is an incredible video! It feels so motivational and hyped. What kind of camera or camcorder do you need to shoot a video like this? I want to film the bouldering culture in Korea in this style.
@@GoodGuyRye you mean, a film with a bit of storytelling, much less show off, much less over editing (trying to hide vacuum) and more emotions? These specs?
@@Dardjiskien No, what I mean is, there is no one right way to do things when you're talking about creativity and films in general. Saying something is over edited is simplistic at best in order to fuel a surface level critique. It's also sad to see negative comments like this on someone's art. It's not constructive for the filmmaker, or for anyone else. It's negative for the sake of it.

Méchamment classe. De la tracklist, aux prises de vue, en passant par le montage... Chapeau c'est vraiment trop vénère 🖤
Keeping the vx alive and I’m all here for it 🖤 such a good vibe!
Bro love this typa videos, hope we'll see more of this
Saw this at Arc’teryx Academy in Squamish. Loved it! Came back here to watch it again.
The hybrid of Interview and music is world class!
Speechless! Superb track selection, the group dynamics, honest down to earth commentary! Gives me some old school Sharma vibes. Literal chills guys!
The hold we've been looking for 8:41
1:10 Pierre Allain : literally doing the same thing on the 10 feet boulders of Fontainebleau than in 1000 feet route in Mont Blanc.
Rene is an absolute genius
I wish more of the climbing was left uncut, I like just watching good climbers move on rock more than all the cuts of them on top
Class vid ! Looks Heavily inspired by “The real thing”, need more of this !! Psyched to get back to font
Sick to watch, makes me feel like old skate movies ! Thx to the cameramen and the crew for this video
Gonna need a tracklist
Super vibe. Just missed the crazy drive in the Beamer, like Jerry did :)
Sublime! Loving the color choices.
FREE motivation bro lets go

Only good vibes here, beautiful. Love the look too what cameras were used?
I think it’s the vx1000
Mix of Vx1000, vx2000, and super8
What's the track at 2:00?
Not released yet
When was this filmed???
does someone know what cameras they use?
Definitely some Sony vx! Don’t now which model exactly 1000 or 2000, no idea. And some super 8 cameras.
Vibe terok
Remake of the reel thing
pas stylé de grimper de nuit à bleau
Over edited.
Id rather that than some boring beta video
Go make a film with the right amount of editing and report back
