John Helldiver the only man who can rocket jump with our airburst rocket launcher, the man who can herd bugs for security detail for civilian extraction, the one who rides into battle on a 500kg bomb, the only man that Eagle-1 has the hots for, and the man who drank a 55 gallon drum of black goo then took a shit and that was the Merida Blackhole
When I was new to the game, we were retaking the creek. I had two buddies who weren't fresh but only level 27 so not pros. We were getting absolutely devastated trying to do 6 difficulty. Then we throw out an sos becon on accident instead of reenforcing. I'm not kidding, down to two lives left this level 80 player joins and coaches us through the hoard while absolutely laying waste to hulks and devastators . Then goes about doing objectives and collecting every sample on the map. At extraction, we lose those remaining two lives. John helldiver continued to duck and weave and break bots until the pelicans came home and we extracted with nearly every sample including supers and every side objective done and every fabricator destroyed. His tips and tricks were pivotal in us learning the game and becoming decent at it. We couldn't have done it without you John Helldiver!
Another friend said he got to see John Helldiver punch a Bit Factory. It shattered. There were three civilians stuck inside that were promptly recovered back to sweet Democracy!!
Real story tho, one time I was doing a level 8 bot mission (I don’t remember the planet this was months ago), and we were getting destroyed. There were three of us and we had 2 reinforcements left. There were 2 factory striders and a ton of other bots between us and extraction, and the samples were literally on top of one of the striders. John helldiver joined and destroyed both of them, got the samples, and helped the entire team extract in like 2 minutes
I saw him getting launched back into orbit by a missile devastator, he came back as an alive walking barrage, considered a traitor, he ran by the enemies deploying destruction while just running by them
I heard he was once left behind by his squad and MIA, but he heroically fought his way through 70 km of area into the next sector (while chased by multiple automaton strike squads) where another squad of helldivers was deployed. He extracted alongside with them.
I once met John Helldivers brother, Dave Helldiver, while not as famous as his brother he was still badass, he took down legions of Automatons by himself, he had no cooldowns on strategems and I even got a fist bump from him. I’ll always remember him.

Marched his way to those samples only to have to shoot his way back into extraction. Reinforcements fell as soon as they arrived. Bombarded by insurmountable odds I saw him take out 3 striders. Not only did he make it out of that planet alive but secured every drop of samples that planet had to offer for super earth.

Funny story actually, I met john helldiver while fighting those dirty cogheads. So there I was, using my SPEAR and my plasma punisher to "infiltrate" a heavy base, when all of a sudden like 6 gunships came outta nowhere, see the spear only has like four rockets and I already used two on some fabricators, so it was lookin' pretty hopeless for me since my resupply was already used. But then outta nowhere someone new joins the mission, I say "whatever its just another diver" but little did I know that it was the man himself. John Helldiver. Luckily he dropped near me so he could see the situation I was in. He called in his autocannon and started blasting at the gunships, saving my life. Later in the mission we extracted successfully with NO CASUALTIES. Overall, I'd say he's a pretty cool guy

I met him on a level 10 dive. He pulled me out of my hellpod after it malfuntioned and then beat an up-armored charger to death with his fists. He single handedly collected all the samples and completed the mission. It was an honor to fight alongside him.

John Helldiver once stepped out into an open field and challenged a bile titan to an arm wrestle. He won, and the bile titan ran away so frightened it plowed through the rest of the mission, and John Helldiver cruised through the mission and to extraction in the most relaxed manner, all the while the bug vs. bug spectacle ensued around him.
I had the honor of playing with him on a random. Absolutely a class act and a beast. He solos most of the objectives before you got your map pinned. I didn’t know much about him b4 that but it was an honor.
In Helldivers 1 there was a famous helldiver known for his leadership and combat capabilities. Any random would find it more fun playing with him rather than any other squad. Until.. he supposedly changed and disappeared.

John helldiver answered my SOS beacon once. He took care of 2 walkers, 5 hulks, and an armada of other bots. As soon as we made it back to ship, he hugged all of us, and then walked outside of the Destroyer. we watched as he plummeted toward the planet like a meteor, straight to the next SOS beacon.
I am John helldiver, I held out for probably about 6 minutes with gunships, hulks, tons of bot drops and tanks, with nothing more than a couple of stims and a grenade pistol. I was at a jammer so that’s why I couldn’t use anything else.
John helldiver is master chief. Faced insurmountable amounts of enemies all alone. Seems very LUCKY that he survived. And that one person you see alone on an enemy planet is doomguy

I came across him once, it was an automaton eradication, he made sure we all got on the ship but stayed to keep fighting, what a legend
i served along side Him once
he somehow found every last sample and killed 3 titans and 5 chargers
John helldiver answered my SOS beacon once. He took care of 2 walkers, 5 hulks, and an armada of other bots. As soon as we made it back to ship, he hugged all of us, and then walked outside of the Destroyer. we watched as he plummeted toward the planet like a meteor, straight to the next SOS beacon.
I am John helldiver, I held out for probably about 6 minutes with gunships, hulks, tons of bot drops and tanks, with nothing more than a couple of stims and a grenade pistol. I was at a jammer so that’s why I couldn’t use anything else.
John helldiver is master chief.
Faced insurmountable amounts of enemies all alone. Seems very LUCKY that he survived.

I saw him dive into a bug hole while we were defending a planet. He came out the otherside of the planet a week later. Planet defended! Crazy legend..
