The Entire World War 2 US Army is surrounded by 5 million zombies. They have 100 sherman tanks and must defend against the largest zombie horde ever! This was made using the Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2 or UEBS 2.

i will admit that im not the biggest fan of million troops battles but in this video the fact that the troops and zombies were fighting in open field and made how many battlefronts they wanted made it SO COOL and its one of my favorite videos of you, DALEY NEVER CHANGE AND KEEP DOING WHAT YOU LIKE BECAUSE THE EFFORT THAT YOU PUT ON IT IS REACONIZABLE FROM 30KMILES OF DISTANCE. Having the soldiers fight in "attack" mode actually makes for really cool dynamic battles. You should o this more often @DaleyTactics. Even if you do have a defensive line maybe you can also include like a flanking force that is in attack mode or so.

Honestly just using the tanks with the soldiers set in defensive positions concentrated on turning avenues of approach into potential kill zones would be the best option. The tanks would crush the zombies (literally and figuratively) with zero friendly casualties and a minimum expenditure of ammunition.
You can beat 1 mill zombies with 2400 troops and 50 tanks.

The US Army would stomp 5 million zombies, all restraints lifted. Even without nukes, zombies wouldn't be able to function when their bodies are damaged enough. Between the machine guns, tanks, artillery, air support, cruise missiles, infantry explosives, fortifications, and personal armor, it would be a bloodbath for the zombies. Especially in a scenario where all the guns were fixed on zombies just charging into them across an open field...
@@iamblight707 I don't think you know how much 5 million really is plus all the people that dies turn into zombies so you'd have armored up zombies and yea we might have a decent amount of soldiers but not many have seen actual battle so you have tons of unexperience ppl so in reality maybe could beat the zombies but zombies aren't real so we will never know

They need to add a 50cal to the top and of the Sherman turrets, and an assistant driver gun too.
They're missing out on so much of what the tanks actually used over the main gun🤷♂️
Agree with that 100%. The tank bot is terrible too. They don’t fire, reload and fire again. You’ll see the turret moving back and forth wasting time. Also the tank shells sent nearly as lethal as a tank should be. Yeah they blow bodies 20 feet up in the air but the blasts only kill a few bots in the other side. The software seems to be very limited
@@fattymatty5380 not to mention when the tank rotates on its tracks, it doesn't hurt or kill/squash the attackers in proximity.
Gotta give it to the developers tho, I still have a hard time processing what they're able to make in these games. Idk what the uploaders PC specs are but it's insane how well these battles unfold with no lag or stuttering etc
@@fattymatty5380 it’s a 75mm gun. I’d say the radius is fine, but it’s the damage in that radius that needs to be increased

There's a book series called Necrotic Apocalypse. The main character is an 800 year old zombie Necromancer. It's a litRPG story and I absolutely loved reading it. Your comment made me think of it, so I thought I'd give it to you as a book recommendation.
I really enjoy the WWII vs the older armys. I wish they would add in some more modern troops.

In the second battle, I think you should've increased the "space" number for the Shermans so they'd be able to spread across the entire line instead of be in just the center

Hey! What about a Holy war next! What I mean is have 1 million units of your choice ally with a God unit. Then have them fight a different 1 million units of your choice and have their own God unit. Then the two sides fight like some kind of crusade or holy war! That would be epic.

I actually wondered why no soldiers have tried to take the "hills" of zombies so far... High ground advantage, right? I guess it's not smart when the zombies are already on top haha
For the first match we see a clear benefit and advantage of the dreaded 'Choke Point' where one can maximize their firepower by focusing it in one location for instant multi-kills!
I haven’t played UEBS 2 and I don’t know if you can direct the units but I find it amazing that the troops spread out pretty evenly instead of just grouping together

The US losses were so insignificant in relation to the number of zombies 5 million dead zombies a few thousand extra probably wouldn't matter.

This is why so many zombie apocalypse scenarios in fiction seem so unrealistic.
This is without large-scale explosives, without air support, without naval bombardment, artillery, flame weaponry, etc.
Without heavy-weaponry like rail guns, barrets and other such weapons that could easily shoot through dozens per shot.
A melee-only enemy against a force with extremely powerful ranged weaponry simply stands no chance.
Most zombie apocalypse scenarios don't assume a large group of zombies in one isolated place where the unaffected armed forces can coordinate a strategically sound response. But given that assumption here, it seems like an oversight to not include air support, artillery, bombardment, etc.

I think something that would be fun to watch would be a single Sherman against a stupid amount of numbers.

the zombies main secret weapon, wallbuilding, is cutt off by advancing troops. If it was all shotgunners, all autos, or all shermans, they'd easily win (even with higher than 200k troops)
they should add realistic move of melee vs ranged, the rangers doesn't bother to keep their distance advantage here.
Tanks not using their armor advantage to hit and run.

Tanks are thirsty AF. Thirsty for ammo and especially fuel. The M1 Abrams has roughly 300 miles of range.

Imagine having to march across a field of blood and gore, with millions of zombies baring down on you, and constant gunfire and artillery all around you. Every single one of those soldiers has a lifetime of PTSD ahead of them.

Entertaining as this is, the difference between reality and simulation comes down to logistics. Eventually, the Army would run out of ammunition, and then the Zeds would sweep them away.

They're only outmumbered 25 to 1 and each soldier carries about 210 rifle rounds.
Not only that they also have Tanks with M2 Brownings on top.
First impression: I don’t like the inclusion of so many shotgunners… the military barely uses them, pretty much only breaching and perhaps less-lethal crowd control. They seem to be little more than meat shields in many battle vids.
Perhaps instead you could use lesser troops, that don’t shoot as accurately and have less HP, but still equipped with battle rifles of some sort.
In this game, the US army soldiers only have 2 variants, which be with an M1A1 Thompson, and another with the shotguns.
Shotguns where used heavily in WW1 in the trenches

In this scenario, they are actually very good.
The lack of range isn't ideal, but because they fire out so many projectiles per shot, they damage a lot of zombies at once, which, when in a big firing line, kills of the zombies extremely rapidly.

Wait! You think that the entire U.S. Army consist of 200,000 grunts and 100 M4? This is obviously WW2 era which included the air corp (P51 Mustang, P38 Lightnings, B17 Flying Fortress, B29 Super Fortress, F8F Bearcat, F4U Corsair, artillery, flame throwers and much much more. About 500,000 U.S. soldiers died in WW2....
in reality: friendly fire, low ammo, panic, fear, abandon post, tired, hunger thirst... Death

Basically in the book world war z the zombies were walkers that could only be killed with headshots. The US military trained with battle rifles with only semi auto with a system where they only shot 1 bullet per second for headshots only, which cherry Pyrotechnically Initiated Explosive(PIE) rounds which incinerated zombie brains

The US pushing like they did stopped the build up of body piles. But if they where forced to stay in position they would struggle alot more. Also no body piles means more collateral shots on zombies.
Is it possible to limit ammunition for combat units and configure them to open fire only if they have clear line of sight? Meaning soldiers cant shoot through each other.
Also, its only send forth or some basic actions can be taken like crouching, laying down etc? Thanks
No there is no a way to do that, only can pick hp, damage, fire speed

You lay mines for a few hundred yard before a hill. You dig a long, deep trench about 100' wide along the base of one of the hill, you lace it with something flammable, you take the high ground in layers with the troops. First wave of Zombies hits the mines blowing up thousands of them, when they hit the trench you torch them creating a barrier of fire. They keep walking into the fire while you pick them off with rifles from the hill. Apocalypse over...
Flat terrain - or even the high ground - naturally favors ranged units. Been that way since people used slings, throwing spears and even rocks in warfare.
The main issue were the parts where the US had issues advancing:
- where they advanced, all the dead were spread out over a larger area
- where they could not advance, the dead piled up in a artificial hill, bringing us back to the flat vs hilly terrain
Any actuall general would have fallen back from those artificial hilltops - rather then pushing over them. At least until the forces to their left or right started cutting of enemy reinforcements enough to attack. Or until the slope had been "smoothed out" by more dead enemies.
It would be interesting if this simulator was somehow able to take into account ammo and line if of fire
So can you direct units to do things in this? Like have the zombies staged in the low ground and have regiment sized elements hold down all the exits?
