What’s crazy is that , I live in la.. maybe not in these areas but I’ve been doing Lyft for a while and before that.. my dads dad lives in Compton.. and I’ve been watching everything evolve and see what it’s like.. the good and bad. And this is as real as it gets , other than actually being in person and experiencing it. I kinda just watched lots happen.. I live in Wilmington soooo xD already a dangerous place. Where I live now in the Middle East is totally different in terms of crime and killing. It’s almost 0 where I’m at and almost totally safe. Now you start talking about Yemen and Iraq why don’t you ask yourself a basic question like “Who jumped that shit off?”. Now before you answer anything to me know I’m 52 years old, first apartment my mother and father had was on Crenshaw Bl. in 1968. My father was born in San Francisco California in 1922 and came to LA around 1933. His street history and my street history is something I don’t talk about but if you want a clue about someone like my father go look at the movie Good Fellas or Devil in Blue Dress. As for me, regarding the street life I’ll say I was a dude who hustled, took my fades, and evaded the penitentiary with intelligence, great timing. and the grace of the All Mighty. And yes I took a 5 man fade with the Black P Stones (Jungle) and got my jaw broke but never fell. Later I went to college. Got 2 degrees and started teaching in the LA county schools and then LA unified school district. In 2004 I moved to Saudi Arabia got married in Ethiopia in 2010 and now I have five children. I work for the largest oil company in the world now and I do real estate (online) on the side buying and selling cheap (cash deal) properties in the US.

Then we took the 101 to COMPTON and I almost lost my mind when we got there. It was everything that I thought it would be, the long ass side walks and wide ass streets!! What stuck out the most 2 me was the bullet holes in the gas station window and doors. It felt like HOME 2 me being there and I didn't wanna leave.... This was back in 2003 or 2004!!
