The reason for the long pause for making the sentence with "gae" with all the menacing funny faces is because in Korean, "gae" is the beginning syllable for an entire sleuth of swear words. This is swearing without actually swearing by letting the audience's mind run wild. And then finish them off with a totally innocent sentence and a smug look. Well played.

So if you're saying Ji"woo" it's wrong, it's "Jiu"
Try translating jiwoo to korean, it'll give you Jiu.

As i said, there is no double O in korean alphabet, so "oo" is represented as "U", so it's not Yoona, it's Yuna So for you to say a korean word sounds like "You" you must be talking about "Yu" Not "U" because "U" sound different from "Yu".
"U" sounds like "Who" but without the air coming out of your mouth.
I bet you say Eonnie as another thing, it's Eonnie not Unnie.
So don't embarrass yourself saying you know korean more than me when all you are saying is nonsense. Do you even do some research before you type? Go look at the korean alphabet, You won't see "Yoo" but you'll see "Yu". You won't see "Woo" but you'll see "U"
