Respect for focusing on the positives of each game.
Overall I enjoyed all these games so why focus on the negative!
Agree with putting the bottom tier as C. Part of why the series is so long running is because the core concept is so good. Even the ones I hate in comparison to other fire emblems are still okay games
Yeah i couldn't think of a game i overall hated as a game, more just disliked more then others.

Yeah for me it’s almost a yearly game I must play, they are just so good! I’m playing through a randomized version of POR right now and having a blast!

@@Iggychuckles I know exactly what you mean. If it is any consolation I think you’re doing a good job, your videos are entertaining. And it seems natural when you speak. Maybe a video going over what you like and dislike about individual fire emblems may do well for you. If you have that kind of time of course.

I may do that! I think it would have to be after playing the game over again because some of these games I haven't played in years so it's hard to remember exactly what I like and don't like about them!
@@Iggychuckles I’m happy to read that you remember that. That was a little bit ago for sure. And you could do it for the games you are familiar with. But the good thing is now, or later you still have time. The longer you wait the more skill you will have, so it will come out even better.
Well the rest of the list is a little different for me personally. But I 💯 agree with you on the tellius games. I love almost everything about them, and nostalgia is definitely not the reason. Either way, nice video it’s nice to see someone’s opinion on these games. Especially a correct one about the tellius ones. And if you do play through a lot of them, it would be nice to see how your opinion may have changed. And what I have messed with in geneology, it feels pretty solid. I know I want to play through it soon.
Yeah, i had wanted to do a tier list for a while, but i didn't realize how hard it is when i haven't played some of the games for a few years now, i forgot so much about them its hard to rank! Yeah going into making the list the only games i knew where i would place is the tellius games, just so much they did right with them, its hard not to have them at the top!
Tellius is the best of the best of all the Fire Emblem games which is why I think we should return to that world but in another continent that I think exists there despite what the people of Tellius think about the great flood.
I agree! I would love a remake, but even more so, either a continuation or like you said expanding that world!
I miss playing Path of Radiance way back then.
Unfortunately for me, my GameCube stopped working years ago, and I never succeeded in getting “Dolphin” emulators to work; and I think there was recently a lawsuit against the people who made the latter.
Now I’m hoping [in vain] for both Tellius titles to eventually be re-released on the Switch Online store. :P
You’re in for a challenging ride if you ever decide to finish FE7/Blazing Blade! While I wouldn’t say it’s really that hard [if you know what you’re doing], but the later chapters will most-likely surprise you.
Yeah I missed playing it a while ago becuase my disc was broken, so I bit the bullet and paid whatever it was like 100$ to buy a new one so I could play it. Now I got the emulator working so it’s fine.
I’ve finished FE7 but not 6 so eventually I’ll get to playing that, my next game is FE4 so hoping that’s good!
Never played a Fire Emblem game before, but I love Ike as a character so I'm lookin to try and play some of the games he's in at least lmaoo
If there’s any game to play in my opinion those are the ones! Cant go wrong with the tellius games!

It’s so depedant on what you value more I guess, story gameplay or characters. But I can definitely see the argument for engage coming up

I think path of radiance is kinda overrated. It's a pretty common opinion that fe9 is a top 1 contender, but I just can't get over how easy it is. I think it is by far the easiest game in the series (I haven't played 1-4, so disregarding those), which puts the gameplay similarly one of the worst of the series.
So in your list what would be number 1? I just hold a sentiment to the tellius games so its hard to see them not being one, but what game would take the cake for you and why?
They say it's actually a lot harder in the Japanese version
Was 9 where our normal didn’t exist for the Japanese version, and our hard was their normal and so on? Becuase I heard that for one of the fire emblem games but I forgot which one it was.
@@IggychucklesI think it was Radiant Dawn that had that issue while Path of Radiance had the issue of making the American version easier.
It's an off topic note, but when Smash players try to build rosters and try to exclude Ike, it's so odd to me. The only thing said is he's irrelevant because his games are, when that wasn't the case. Ike is quite literally the secondary mascot of the series and still it's most popular character by a margin. His games didn't do good sales wise because of what they did with localization on top of not advertising them in the first place, along with Path of Radiance specifically came out mere months before the Wii was released, but instead of just rereleasing the game with more up to date features, they just marked the price up within just a year of release like some tax write off. Oddly somewhat similar to Thracia 776, but it was the case of a SNES game being released when the N64 was being phased out.
TLDR; Ike's games not selling well enough is because of Intelligent Systems dropping the ball hard outside of development, not fan disinterest, and the reputation of Tellius succeeds in keeping the arc in high acclaim and relevancy with Archanea, Ylisse, and Fodlan.

Yeah I always found that funny, just excluding fire emblem characters due to being a slightly “smaller” series or not selling well. Even though he’s one of the most beloved character

@@Iggychuckleswhat I played of it. The gameplay is passable, it feels closer to the gba games in quality then the fe1 that was released on to the switch. It is the start of skills, and the way they handle equipment is definitely unique. The ui is beautiful in my opinion. (Yes I’m still hanging out around here, it’s a good video, and it’s always good to hear good things about tellius).

I just need to finish the POR Randomizer, and i have a dark souls one ready to start, so I'm thinking either i will play dark souls and do another randomizer of a fire emblem or play through fe 4 then at the same time!
i feel like for me every fire emblem game After RAdiant dawn is B tier or lower, it just has not been the same for me since
downgrade in animations compared to its previous games
crit animations being boring it just hasnt hit the same.
there were things i did like however, character creation was cool, in awakening The buddy system where its 2 vs 2 and your friend can help. i did like that but the massive downgrade in animations was a huge let down for me
I can see it’s definitely been “weebafied” so in terms of art style it may not suit everyone. They got lazy in some place to try and make it better in others but have flopped a little bit.
Still good games in my opinion but good to know!
i dont even mind it being more Weebafied in the sense of the art style, i just hate how downgraded everything else feels. you would think with it being more weebafied we would get more Anime style attacks or how should i put this Attack animations being "Extra" but its not.
in older Fire emblem both game cube/wii and the GBA games, attacks had a more fancy style to them, and when you Crit Boy did it do something cool, Assassin having this flash attack, Sword masters splitting into 5 different shades then attacking with a barrage of slashes, Some people doing a fancy spin of the weapon before doing an epic multi-attack or big hit crit. It was so much nicer back then. Even mage animations had a lot of Character to them.
Now with the modern games ever since the DS, alot of animations look the same, Magic attacks on the DS are the biggest offended of this with everything almost being yellow, , Crit animations are now them saying a phrase and then a swing, Its a shadow of its former self. i dont even get excited for crits or attacks anymore.
There are new things i do like but it doesnt out weigh the sacrifice of animations and attacks for me.@@Iggychuckles
Yeah that makes sense. I Havent really thought about that specifically but yeah going from the gba games to now, its just a small cutscene of the characters face and the same move, nothing cool or special about that. yeah going the more anime route you think they would go with some over the edge animations but i guess not.
@@Lexipumpkin783you are totally right about the crit animations looking so boring now. There was a lot of charm in the gba games, and radiant dawn in my opinion did everything path of radiance did, but better (except supports). I love most of the games after, but I think that fe10 was top tier in style. They should go back to it at some point, I mean still make it look better. And fe10 has my favorite ui
Putting any fates game above echoes is the worst opinion
Like i said i feel like echoes was so hard for me to rank, its the one ive played the least out of the bunch so i dont remember as much of it as i should!
It's also the opinion of the vast majority.
I thought people hated fates at first but then randomly people started liking it, kinda like pokemon gen 5, but i guess not haha.
Are you going to call the Truth Ministery for this opinion ?
Fates is waaaay better than echoes
