Whenever I talk to someone about Initial D who doesn't really know about it, I usually send some version of this clip. Takumi's drift, the "shit, a Panda Trueno!", Wataru's line about Takumi's improvement, and of course "Gas Gas Gas". I just feel like it hits all the hallmarks of this series in one great little package.
It goes to show that when you race with someone, whether either of you win or lose, you can both learn something from each other and basically become friends because of that. 😊
It's sad that we likely won't see takumi in mfg besides flash backs since he supposably had a big crash forcing him to retire. I really hoped to see a takumi bunta, who is a lot more relaxed but still casually destroys someone while not even trying.

There are people in real life that mistakes a driver as a racer. While he's not. Just a person that wants to get home as quick as possible and get some sleep. And women. When your boyfriend is driving. DON'T SCREAM! It is very distracting & annoying.
