I love that they both use their intellect as a tool to be funny, and maybe that's why they play off of each other so well.

I mean, as much as I agree with you, I think that's a poor example of showing her intelligence. It's just demonstrative of her extensive vocabulary and articulation, not much else. I think the intelligence is in her humour, even though sometimes it seems convoluted, it's clear she's well-read, informed, and thoughtful. I love that they both use their intellect as a tool to be funny, and maybe that's why they play off of each other so well.
I do but i am an EMT and we do things like take palpated blood pressures and palpate for pain and shit... also i show my intellect whenever i feel like making an impression or winning an arguement
