YES PLEASE to a part two! You made me realise that the problem with my wards wasn't that they weren't working.... I'd just not cleansed the place first 😂. I'd literally warded all the *&%@ IN the house. Now I feel like a numpty!

The sound cleansing for me extends to cranking up the music as I am cleaning a space. I am not sure I know how to clean and clear spaces without loud music.
I found this video as I really needed to learn how to protect my bedroom from the energy of my family. I live in an extremely toxic environment, the alternative is living on the street, i always contemplate it. I really believe this will give me the space, safety and freedom i need. I just need a sacred space thats mine alone with no one elses influence. I believe i will have this. I've learnt so much thank you. I'm very excited to cleanse and protect my room tomorrow morning. Using my voice and making noise will feel very healing too, as I've always been forced to live quietly. There are not many like me, I am from a very mixed heritage , I'm not Irish, but I really respect the knowledge you've given me thank you

I use dried holly bush branches to cleanse my tools. I also use it as an offering to my irish ancestors. My mum was from Ireland & luved hollybush. I use the berries for protection in spellwork too.

I was raised Catholic and as I reached adulthood I came to understand and appreciate smoke cleansing. I wish they had explained the ritual in Sunday school. I now use a censer for smoke cleansing using the herbs I grow in my garden

Wonderful stuff! Thank you so much for these simple practical reminders. A couple of questions:
- you didn't mention visualisations. Is that a componant in traditional practice or would you consider that to fall under personal preference and what works for you?
- In talking about making the ward for her son, Lora mentioned "charging" the ward. Would you consider that to be the same as setting your intention, or is there anything additional you include?
- When cleansing, setting intention and creating are there particular feelings that come with that process (i.e. feelings of drawing/raising/releasing energy or feeling your intention, such as peace)?

This is perfect timing as we just found out that my husband's brother will be coming for a visit and he hates me with a passion and I knew I would need to top up my wards and add a bunch more for the occasion.

You can google that pretty easily.
It's not ours to practice. Native American spirituality is closed. Appropriating it is causing severe damage to the supply of sage for people it does belong to, Native Americans. Respectfully, I think we should avoid it and stick close to home so that they can recover and heal from the abuse of their spiritual practices.
So what do you do when you get to the point that it’s time to refresh the bottles or change it out ?
Reason why I am asking is don’t know how to do that safely.
Check the Making Offerings vid on channel, or the class on Irish Pagan School - get rid of old stuff in similar way, and refresh with new.
When I first listened to this video I did my action point and created a ward to keep negative energies away so I could have a good night's sleep. I didn't sleep at all that night. What did I do wrong?

My family migrated from Belfast Co.Antrim Ireland to the United States. I believe the original members were Catholic. So the Living Traditions you speak of were integrated into daily life along with their faith in this case Catholic? I have always heard that the church (Catholic) forced the ancient ancestors to give up their pagan beliefs…
