DHD Board Story: Episode 6 - The Phoenix

Mick had retired and wanted a board different from his high performance board, an easy paddler for easy summer rides - he wanted high performance fun. The Phoenix board ended up being the board of the summer; it's fun, it's fast, it's easy to paddle - for a soft running wave.
This was the board everyone wanted to ride. Mick rides it as a 2 + 1 on smaller waves. Darren and Mick call the board The Phoenix because the DHD factory had burned down on Boxing Day at the end of 2019 but The Phoenix survived.

I’ve got one of these in 5’10 eps (unfortunately made in Thailand!! But the build quality is the best I’ve ever seen )
With the MR twin and little trailer set it’s probably the fastest board I’ve ever had and I’ve had a fair few. Definately a one board quiver. Good work DH.
