I agree it’s disappointing but I do think people wanted this as a lot of US fans love these yes they are not what the Beatles intended but it’s the Beatles that a lot of US fans fell in love with. I think the missed opportunity was the not making a 12 inch single of Now and Then, Read love and free as a bird
It’s ridiculous. Just give the fans what they want. Box up the rest of the catalogue and then release the secondary stuff. We want Rubber Soul already! Heads should roll! 😡
What makes this more disappointing, is that it also means further delays for A Hard Day's Night, Beatles For Sale and With The Beatles and so on. If they are simply buying more time to make the remixes as good as possible, then I can live with that, because it makes no sense otherwise.
Hi Here is the first positive one. I have been a Beatlesfan for almost fifty years. I am from the Netherlands. I have got most of the American pressings with the original Capitol master. This box set is interesting because it has the Dan Dexter original Capitol masters with more reverb and so on. Because ....... The worst release was The Beatles In America CD box set from 2014. Even the Red and Blue release from last year was better than that 2014 so-called American album cd box. American? .. no way ... these cd's were mostly the UK masters. But I am glad that all these new American albums can be bought separately. I am not interested in The Beatles Story interviews double album. And that album is only available in the complete box set. However, comparing prices for the separate albums and the complete box set, I am not sure right now what to buy. It purely depends on the prices. And by the way 😂😂, thanks for calling me an idiot when I buy these albums. Considering Rubber Soul...... next year it is the 60th anniversary. We will get it then. Enjoy listening to music and take care.
The reason the 2014 Beatles American albums box set contained the original mixes, was because the Beatles hated what capitol did!, so Paul and Ringo requested they used the proper version!, Capitol made a mess of those American albums!. There is no other way of looking at it!
Isn't it obvious that Rubber Soul in 2025 makes sense as it's the 60th anniversary? You don't have to buy anything. Liberate yourself from the material world 😂
@@maxwelleddison6717 I get that argument but using the same argument, then a hard days night or Beatles for sale would have made sense for 2024 then surely?
@@maxwelleddison6717I agree, but I’ve always thought with the earlier stuff they might compensate lack of outtakes with live performances of some tracks
@oliversaunders_ there's a difference between reality and fans wishlists. You might have to face up to the idea that there's just not much left to release. Do you not think that if there had been sufficient material for Please, Please Me, With The Beatles and A Hard Day's Night sets they would have issued sets?
@@maxwelleddison6717 I'm not bothered about outtakes, it's the remix I'm more bothered about for all those albums, the stereo mixes have always been horrible to listen to through headphones so a remix would make sense after they did it for Revolver. There's not been time for them to do all those albums yet, this demixing technology they use has only been available the last few years, and this year is the first year since Get Back where they've not used it for something.

@oliversaunders_ suspect that volume and quality of available outtakes might be an.issue in some cases.
