Mr. Sethi, is her wearing a uniform legal. The Articles of Police order mentioned in this amendment give the IG powers to make changes for better administration of the force - how does the CM wearing a uniform help better administer the force. The police rule 1934 quoted gives the IG the power to amend muster patterns. All the above rules do not give the IG powers to allow unauthorized persons to wear a uniform. The problem with Pakistan is that laws /rules are never upheld when it comes to the elites. This would never have happened in a Mohazab nation. Will the US President as CinC wear a generals uniform. The day we change our attitudes to such things Pakistan will start progressing. If a common citizen wears such a uniform cases are registered against him the why the CM under pretext of totally illegal amendments. Have we forgotten Article 25 ( if I remember correctly) of the Constitution.
