i haven't seen a video of dragonforce live in a long time. but this performance is great. they didn't fuck the whole song up, like what they were doing at EVERY performance during 2006.

They are amazing live. They truly are..saw them April 30th this year..truly spectacular. The only problem I'm finding now is Herman & Sam's guitar tone. It needs to be a little thicker u know? Stronger! Power Metal! It's ok though =P

This genre of metal (with Bands like Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Malmsteen, Helloween) uses to have powerful and melodical vocals, which also you can hear from a lot of pop artists (Like Celine Dion, to put an example). Thats why some people calls it "pop metal", but who cares?
Gotta admit, this is probably the best I've ever seen them play live. Maybe their newer guitars are just that much better at staying in tune or they're not buzzed, but either way, their act is definitely improving.

Probably because to need to filter out things like the fans making too much noise, the volume from the speakers, and various feedback. Really, Only live RECORDING I can't think of off the top of my head that sounded better then the studio is Hendrix at Woodstock. But I'm sure they'll figure something out when they release the DVD, they do have high quality sounding albums.

Not to sound too cynical or anything but those harmony vox are either overdubbed or they were using a backing track.
I think it needs to be sharper, to be honest. For example, in the bridge of this song it sound a lot more deeper than in the album. But it's amazing.
