    Liked and even subscribed on this first vid. Nice explanations and enough examples to work on at this level. I, however, prefer to have my training partner try to hit me (at the slow speed that you're practicing) because otherwise, I haven't developed the correct angle for my slip, or I don't step far enough, etc., and I might not even see the punch coming when I begin sparring and fighting.

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for commenting and great point, having the training partner throw the punches at a slower speed is a great tool to help perfect your technique.

    Thanks for all your videos, it really helped me to have all the information and confidence to get started in workouts and boxing skills. Do you do these channels videos for free? It seems you are not selling anything and you don't ask for an email address to receive newsletters in order to sell products, like the millions of other people on the internet. Thanks.

      I thank you for taking the time to watch. My main motivation was to try and help people to get into the greatest shape possible by providing them with the best and most scientifically accurate information ... and for free 🙂🙂 I also love boxing and it’s been a great way for me to stay in shape over the years and I love to introduce new people to this great sport 😎

    Which is best throwing a combo in straight line and then go a angle or throwing a combo in angles

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm definitely going to do a video all about punching in combinations...There really is no best combination, it will always be a preference of what you like to throw...I often box guys that are taller than myself and I might come in straight with a jab, then pivot off to my right and throw a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head. The main concept will be to place your punches at different spots and throw from different angles to either open up or get around your opponent's guard.

    What stance would be best for a counter puncher

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You know , that is a really good question because I've seen great counter punchers with both a very orthodox boxing style and others with one are lowered in a Philly shell. I guess the answer is always going to be the stance in which you feel most comfortable...but if I had to choose, that one arm low "a la James Toney" is a good counter punching stance if you'ree quick enough with the shoulder roll.
      Thanks for commenting : )

      Fight your way Fit by chance can you guys show me James toney' s stance?

    • @fightyourwayfit
      @fightyourwayfit  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      James Toney is one of my all time favourite fighters ... when he has in top shape he was almost impossible to beat. I think in the future we can definitely do that type of video... I already have a ton of videos that Are lined up so it may take a while but I think it would be a cool video... thanks for the idea 😎

      @dragoflair3495 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fight your way Fit he's one of my favorite fighters too he's hard to touch and when you think you almost have him he makes you pay with a power counter, i always rewatch him fight Roy but can never get ahold of the stance so thank you very much and can't wait to watch the next videos you make
