The Holy Spirit appeared to me and saved me when I was at the lowest point of my life. It happened 40 1/2 years ago when I was 25. Until that moment I did not have faith.

The one on the right was slightly taller than the one on the left. I knew in an instant that the taller one was the Holy Spirit and the shorter one was that of my wife. You see, I was kneeling in front of my wife's coffin and crying uncontrollably. She had been hit by a car in a pedestrian accident 5 days earlier. You receive the Holy Spirit the nanosecond that you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. The sole purpose of this life is to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. True, if we love God and love our neighbors as ourselves we will obey His commandments. Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present,and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life! Salvation is absolutely free recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel.
Me and the father were damaged from all the sins that we have picked up and the lives that we have lived that's why the Lord says for those who judge shall be judged because you knew that we have sinned me and my father because we were cursed and he died on the cross for Adam since that's why he says if it causes you to send turn your cheek die out your sins for me like I died on the cross for you so I can die my sins out once you dye your sends out then my sins will get better that's why he says I am blameless

There is no need for praying for the baptism of the holy spirit, for according to Paul, there is no acknowledging of Jesus as Lord without the holy spirit, as 1 Cor 12:3 - διὸ γνωρίζω ὑμῖν, ὅτι οὐδεὶς ἐν Πνεύματι Θεοῦ λαλῶν λέγει, ἀνάθεμα Ἰησοῦν, καὶ οὐδεὶς δύναται εἰπεῖν, Κύριον Ἰησοῦν, εἰ μὴ ἐν Πνεύματι Ἁγίῳ. Nobody becomes a believer of Christ if not the father draws him/her, John 6:44 - οὐδεὶς δύναται ἐλθεῖν πρός με, ἐὰν μὴ ὁ πατὴρ ὁ πέμψας με ἑλκύσῃ αὐτόν, καὶ ἐγὼ ἀναστήσω αὐτὸν τῇ ἐσχάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ. And that drawing happens by the holy spirit... Old Testament scripture the Water laver in the Temple was for washing the hands of the priests before entering the holy place. @@reelramx3244 Thank you for showing me this passage. Yes, I was perishing and felt like my mind was about to snap. Then two oval shaped orbs appeared to me. They were side-by-side. The one on the right was slightly taller than the one on the left. I knew in an instant that the taller one was the Holy Spirit and the shorter one was that of my wife. You see, I was kneeling in front of my wife's coffin and crying uncontrollably. She had been hit by a car in a pedestrian accident 5 days earlier.
When I saw the two orbs hovering over her body, I stopped crying immediately. I knew in an instant that she was safe with Jesus and at peace. It was at that exact moment that I was given the ultimate gift of faith. As I previously mentioned, this occurred 40 1/2 years ago and I still remember it vividly with no changes whatsoever in the details. I feel I have been abundantly blessed in my life because of this most precious gift of faith.

You receive the Holy Spirit the nanosecond that you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.
The sole purpose of this life is to love God and love your neighbor as yourself.
True, if we love God and love our neighbors as ourselves we will obey His commandments.
Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us.
Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present,and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.
When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life!
Salvation is absolutely free recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God.
Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God.
Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.
The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone.
Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel.

GOD IS THE HOLY SPIRIT and He has one student Jesus His only fully fit representative made so bY GOD. Why do you call water in that verse the Holy Spirit? The water in all other references is the word of God...
This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. That is just three witnesses of scripture. There are many more but I don't want to belabor the post here.
Old Testament scripture the Water laver in the Temple was for washing the hands of the priests before entering the holy place. The water there represented the word of God as washing there hands of there deeds they have done before entering.

Why are the writings of the Bible written in a metaphorical way? is it to deliberately confuse the reader or in order to make it appear spiritually mysterious.
It's for us to mature spiritually. Not to just grow old but to grow in God 😇
It's the same reason as why we wrap gifts and leave hints for our children to find them on birthdays and festivals
