Two reasons people love Huawei 1) they have made legendary phones, ahead of their time, first and foremost the P30 Pro 2) they feel with David in his struggle with the gruesome, brutal Goliath (USA)
I have a Huawei P40 pro in silver and imo it's one of the most beautiful phones ever made. And I'm a big fan of EMUI and don't really care about the lack of Google services. But I can't get past the price of the Pura 70 ultra price. I mean I can get the Vivo X fold 3 pro for less and it's just nuts that any slab phone costs more than a foldable
Hi I have the 70 ultra as well, I was able to make gboard the default keyboard.. I pretty much had everything working but alas android auto… returning it and trying to get the global version withy EMUI
Just be aware that you'll have issues with banking apps, none of mine work on my P40 Pro Plus, I use a separate Honor phone for banking and authentication etc, but PayPal does work in most instances. I have been looking at other phones just lately but only those that could better the set up I already have on my P40 Pro Plus, I don't even think the Pura 70 has 5g which I already have. The Vivo x100 ultra looks tempting, so maybe I'll jump ship, much as I love Huawei...or maybe I'll stay, there are some definite advantages with not having GMS built in🤔
Great video as always. The macro mode on the Vivo X100 Ultra can take some fantastic shots and can shoot up to 30x. You can get some great shots similar to the Huawei using that mode.
I checked it out on his store and unless the listed price is wrong the Pura 70 ultra literally costs more than the Vivo X fold 3 pro! By about $300. I love Huawei but the idea of spending almost $1,700 for a slab phone when I can get a foldable with cameras that are almost as good and Google services for $1,400 is just nuts.
Just one other thing for people who need that Android Auto capability, there are USB boxes for cars supporting Huawei HiCar which is actually really good :) The nav is surprisingly good
Thanks, I heard that these were being priced significantly below Apple and Samsung's flagship phones, at least on the domestic market. Apple is losing serious market share as a result of that, and overall features. Outside China looks to be competitively priced though.
The problem is because of the US sanctions (which are stupid and they should disappear) Huawei has to use their own HarmonyOS. They don't have a choice. That's why there are no Google Play Services.
How the camera performance from Huawei mate 60 pro plus to Huawei pura 70 ultra? Is it significantly improvement camera performance? Is it worthy upgrade from Huawei mate 60 pro plus to Huawei pura 70 ultra? Or keep my Huawei mate 60 pro plus?
@@AverageDadOfficial Xiaomi has Longjing glass, Longjing in Chinese means"dragon crystal". Huawei get Kunkun glass, Kunlun is a huge mountain in Southwestern China.
The P30 Pro was probably the best phone I ever owned. So sad The US is unfairly keeping Huawei innovation away from so many.

With microG is all normal. And works fine. Without any problem.

Gboard is working perfectly on mine, but maybe I got lucky with the video that I followed. I fricken love this phone

Android Auto is working with microG on EMUI global version according to Huawei Blog Germany which tested it
