I love how we saw much more of you in this video! It felt really friendly and nice, thanks Hilary 😺
It‘s so cool to see that you‘ve grown more comfortable showing yourself directly and talking ❤
And also your German is soooo so good!
So nice seeing you and hearing your voice in this video❤ To more of these😊
Hi Hillary! I would love to see from you diy content, but also cooking, cleaning, art making, travel vlogs from Asia and Germany! Your editing will make me watch everything! Great videos, thank you! ❤️
Thank you, you're the sweetest!
This was a fun one, seeing more of you is lovely! All the food looks so good and the organizing is always so satisfying. I love your vids, so calm and informative at the same time! Looking forward to when you have a new project, love the DIYs as well! ❤ Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!
I love the character your channel seems to be slowly taking. I've been watching you since your very first video and it feels warmer and cozier every time! I loved that I saw you more in this one and you seemed very relaxed and nice! Thanks for the relaxing and comfy videos, you're always the best company!
Aw you're so sweet, thank you!
Dein Deutsch ist wirklich gut 👍🏼 Auch mit der Aussprache kommst du super klar😄
i also love to see you directly spkeaking to the camera, i.e. to us. nice to understand you feel really more comfortable with camera. thank you for your aestethic video as usual.
in my country, Uzbekistan, we love to eat cold noodle soup in summers, it's local korean soup called 'kuk-si'. it's not typical for Korea itself, only here in Uzbekistan. almost everybody loves kuk-si in hot days like ours in July :)
Oh, that sounds really interesting! Funny how it's korean soup but not common in Korea!
Yeah, it's funny. Guest from Korea are always surprised to see this
Was just about to go to bed and then I saw this, lol. Sleep can wait a little longer 😂
I would highly recommend the Ramen Museum in Yokohama, go there hungry, haha. It's filled with ramen restaurants from all over, and you can choose smaller portions, so you can try a few different ones. Kamakura and Enoshima are two of my favourite places to visit as well, but it might be a bit much to do both in the same day. Nakano Broadway is a must if you're into Japanese pop culture, there's also a huge second hand kimono shop in the basement.
I've been considering whether to go to the Cup Noodle museum!! Guess I really have to go hehe
@@cloudyhills The Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum and Cup Noodle Museum are different, though! I've heard good things about the Cup Noodle one, too, but I haven't been there myself. ^^
Ahhhh I see, okay I'll do some research on the Shin-Yokohama one
Ohhh a vlog, we missed you!! Have fun in Japan :D
oh my! i finally see your face thoroughly and you're so cute 🥰
Kichijoji is my hometown!! (But I live in CA now). You might already know but you purchase Gibli museum tickets on-line but you need to pick them up at Lawson convenience store. If you are into Japanese traditional art, you can watch Kabuki in Ginza or other couple of places in Tokyo for a single play (normally entire plays are very long) and they provide interpretation audio kit. I hope you will have a wonderful trip in Singaproe and Tokyo!!
Hey, your vlog-type content is super entertaining and relaxing to watch!
Commenting for visibility/reach and to let you know I'd love to watch more of this kinda videos from you c: (and your DIY vids ofc!!)
I use vinegar and water to clean my fridge but add a few drops of vanilla as well to give a nice smell. In Australia for salmon we say samon drop the l
Oooo I'm not a big fan of the scent of vanilla, but this gave me the idea to add some other scents so thank you 😄
@@cloudyhills I use lemon oil 😊
Great video! I liked your choice of music too.
Thanks for the good vibes you provide us. I watch your videos with my gf and it brings us a lot of ideas, thanks for that. 😇
Thank you for uploading. I really love your videos and they are my happy place ❤
would love to see how you set up and use notion more!
i love how you called it a simple meal and i was like damn that's a lot of work haha. Guess im too Dutch for it
I know right, everything look so good!
😀😀😀
All I did was make a sauce for the tofu and fry an egg 😂 The kettle and rice cooker did the rest hehe
@@cloudyhills i'm team bread with nutella so anything beyond a grilled chease is 'a lot of work' haha
This video was so fun to watch 😁
You had me so stressed! I cannot clean in a pretty outfit! Great job as usual though❤
That looks so good! Thank you for sharing your recipe 😍
10:48j I'm Dutch, and I'd pronounce the English word salmon the same as you Germans would. In Dutch, salmon is "zalm" (similar but different). I just looked up the German word. Lachs!? I did not expect that, haha.
Such a soothing video❣Would LOVE more cooking content, such a good inspriation❣
I loved this format, and you and your voice is sooo cute, more please 😊
❤️❤️
Definitely will try the recipe and maybe even Lingoda since I’ve been looking for something new to try and would like to improve my Spanish. This was a good relaxing way to end the day, Enjoy Japan! 😊👍🏼
It was great to see you in front of the camera. Thoroughly enjoyed watching you cook.
Amo seus vídeos! Assisto todos. Admiro muito sua versatilidade, você sabe fazer quase tudo e com excelência! Te saúdo desde o Brazil!! 🏝
Travel plan is always the best ! Go try the milk tea in japan (from the vending machine) its my all time fav! ☺️
i love your vlog so muchh
❤completely enjoyed listening to you speak and to see you
i went to japan in april and miss it so much! i would recommend going to asakusa in tokyo. there is a shrine there which is surrounded by local businesses and great street food!
When it's a big trip, planning is the best way to go. For spontaneous ones no plans are more fun 😊
I watched this video on Friday morning. On Friday evening I was cleaning my fridge and making cold noodle 😂 you’ve got a good influence on me !!! Btw it was the first time that I cooked cold noodle and I absolutely loved it!
Thanks for your videos. Honestly, you’re one of my favorite TH-cam creator. Your videos are so calming and with a lot of brillant ideas. ❤
Hahaha I love this!! Cold noodles are ❤️
Eet smakelijk !!!! 👏
I really enjoyed this type of video and how to make your delicious looking dinner. ❤
I hope you make it! 😇
I love this video so much❤ Please make more daily life videos like this🥹
I am not vertically challenged 😄 but my old 1,75m fridge broke down and I now have a 2,03m one that I can't reach to the upper shelves backs so I bought a lazy susan and it's really the best. All my bottled condiments are there now and I will probably get me another one for the other side of the top shelf. 👍🏻
travelling to Japan is my big dream! hope you will make some vlogs from there too
I will, if possible!
I really recommend the Sakurai Japanese Tea experience in Tokyo! You can try a lot of different teas, and they’ll even roast hojicha in front of you.
Personally, I have to plan a lot when I travel, although I get stressed out if the schedule is planned down to the minute. Like you, I tend to pick out certain activities for the day. But I definitely have to set aside time beforehand for frequent breaks, and I need to know when and where I can eat. I’m the type who will look over menus before leaving on a trip.
Ahhh, freshly roasted Hojicha sounds incredibly tempting 🤤
This was a lovely video...I enjoy all your content, but this one was special ❤
😊❤️
Love that mic! Your voice sounds beautiful (as always)
Thanks for sharing new content, I love what you do (:
ahhhh we are going to Japan too in December! Have the best time there
How long will you be there? We're there for 2 weeks and while planning everything it already seems too short!
Love this vlog so much!❤
As another noodles/ramen lover here’s one recommendation you must eat in Tokyo- please visit Tatsunoya at Shinjuku to eat their tsukemen, absolutely delicious and the best tsukemen I’ve ever eaten in my life. Could get busy during peak dinner time so I’d recommend go super early say around 5.30-6pm for dinner! (Or check if they’re open for lunch)
Ah I've never tried Tsukemen! I've got to!
In Germany we don‘t say salmon, wie say Lachs. ❤
Hello Hillary, 🤗 thank you for sharing organization ideas i really need the motivation! I love your dress may I ask where you got it? ❤

I love your books, but I couldn't not smile when I saw the topic "Einen Beschwerdebrief schreiben" at 5:48 😂 this is too german
Hi! I love your videos 😊
I would recommend squeezing in some time in Kyoto while you’re in Osaka as well. It’s an hr or so by train.
Hope you have a safe trip!
We've been to Kyoto before, had a greaaaat time there! 😊
Enjoy the Making of Harry Potter studio tour! I went for 4pm and the evening was lovely -- everything outside was magical.
Oh!! We're going at 12:30, guess I have to stay the entire day there to see the evening views >:)
@@cloudyhills it will take about five hours to complete and sunset when you are here should be about 17:30 so ample time to see the evening glow against the lighted bridge and other things. One huge tip: while written information and some parts are in English, the interactive parts are not always announced well enough and plus in Japanese. So make sure to keep your eyes and ears open! Enjoy! I was sad to see my old amusement park go but having seen what it turned into, I’m not sad anymore!
So hungry now...
Ps Thanks for the longer subtitles ❤
😄
Linda Sun just put up a video on her travels to japan with lots of food recommandations.
Linda!!! ❤🇧🇷
Japanese living in Berlin here🙌🏻 I love the tofu from that brand too! They're just soooo expensive compared to Tofus in Japan tho... I love cold somen on a hot summer day too and my German husband doesn't like cold noodles either😅😂 Its so sad but I can only make it when he's not home😂
If only you lived in Munich, we could have cold tofu and cold somen all the time without our husbands 😉
In the UK 'salmon' has a silent ''L', so it's pronounced 'Sa-mon' - and the 'a' sound is shorter or longer according to the accent.
❤❤❤
I don't like cold noodles... But this dish looks insanely delicious ☺
Thanks for a lovely video, as always.😊 I 'm like you when it comes to traveling....prefer to do some research on the place but do not have rigid plans, love to go with the flow sometimes. I do hope that you will shoot a video of the Flea Markets in Japan. Would love to see them.😊 BTW, are there Flea markets in Singapore? I have been there thrice, but never checked them out.
Hmm... In Singapore we don't really have flea markets like in Europe. There's either these markets called "pasar malam" where people sell affordable but new knick knacks, clothes and food; or "pop up markets" where it's small businesses with crafty things like self-made jewellery, candles and maybe some secondhand (but still new looking) clothes!
Thank you so much for your reply, really appreciate it @@cloudyhills 😍
Hi. How do u keep the cut up spring onions fresh in the container? Tq
I give them rinse before I cut and store them in the container (lasts up to 1 to 2 weeks). Alternatively you can also put a wet paper towel to keep them fresh in the container
in the uk we say "sah-men"! same a sound as how you pronounce it in germany but with a silent L :D
Hello there Lovely. Thank you for such a feminine video. My husband works 24 hours shifts and on the days he isn’t here I cook food I like too. lol what kind of tofu are you using? I have very little experience with tofu and noticed the grocery store has soft, firm… beyond my ability level to choose.
Hi Wendy ❤️ Soft/silkened tofu is most delicious to eat out of the packet or boiled in soup, while firm tofu is great for frying (coat with panko for extra crispiness!)
@@cloudyhills thank you so much! I can’t wait to try it now that I know what to choose. You are so kind to help me. 💚
Tolles Video 😊 du sprichst doch sehr gut deutsch 😊👍👍👍👍👍❤ Grüße aus Hamburg
Danke! Ich vermisse Hamburg~

Yay thank you so much! I'll check those out ❤️
Its pronounced SAMON (without the L) here in Southern Africa 10:50 😂😂. But you get some of those people who want to say it with the L as well hahaha.
Sallut-useful channel- 🔥
I had no idea it was only 1 tbsp of vinegar needed for cleaning solution. I was doing 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar and wondered why I hated it 😭
Don't worry I made that same mistake too at the start, everything stank of vinegar 😂 Now you know! And someone suggested to put a drop vanilla or lemon oil too~
You wish you could afford living in a private flat of that size as a single person in London. 🙌
I don't want to be obtrusive, but please Hillary could you share your future clips from Singapore and Japan? 😊😊 I l ❤ your channel, hugs from Panamá 🇵🇦
I'll try! 🤗
It's Sa Man. I live in the PNW that's how it is pronounced.

Hi, where is your dress from please ?

@@cloudyhills thank you
Harry potter saga fan just like me! (And tons of millenials😂). Really enjoyed the video!
Vertically challenged 💀girl own your height!! You’re the boss!!
Hahaha! 🫡
I don’t travel anymore because I can’t afford it and because of depression.
I think in America it’s pronounced as “sal-mon” and here in Australia is the same in UK which is “sah-mon” you basically don’t say the L
Why visit Warner Bros Harry Potter tour in Tokyo instead of London? I would assume London's has more authentic pieces as they made it there. Also I would love to immerse in japanese culture instead.
i'd recommend just talking german with your partner instead of planning classes during your vacation.
I'm pretty sure they've already considered it and prefer for her to take lessons. They're "big" enough to know what they prefer...
@@miyounova you're adding unneccesary stress and activities during your vacation. hence my recommandation. (not to mentio possible instable internet etc)
We do! But he's unable to explain to me "why" the sentence structure or grammar is like that, since it's just something he grew up with. Classes make it much easier to understand the language properly 😉 But yes, maybe for the vacation I can take it easy 😄
@@cloudyhillsmaybe some extra classes after your holiday, your german isn t gone it just needs refreshed after time
