Joe I'm telling you that he is THE BEST and his way using OpenCore is far far easier than Clover, Iv'e been stuck on Yosemite for years until I found his channel. I had the hardware but lacked the knowledge to get it going until TechNolli. and I can understand every word he's saying. lol
If i do this in clover without looking up the model to get all the other spaces like manufacture and etc will this still work ? right now all those boxes are empty for me
Does this method supersede the one you showed at the end of your i9-9900K video from a couple months earlier? I followed that (all in Clover Config) but I'm not 100% confident to try App Store etc. now that I see this method. Thanks for your amazing tutorials.

I did change the 3 things like in your Video but that didn‘t help. I found out that the ethernet Port has to be „en0“ and „builtin“, otherwise it will not start. Do you have an idea, how i can fix that? 2. The onboard sound does not work. I do use a usb-to-aux Adapter which works fine for now. Do you have an idea of how I can fix this? I have a MacBook Air with a dead screen but still works with a monitor. Can I just sign out of iCloud and everything from that and use that MacBooks serial numbers and what not on my Hackintosh ?

if you want to disable the text on choosing what os and recovery option as well as reset nvram, all you need to do is just to disable showpicker on Misc->Boot->Showpicker->Yes (change this to "NO") and you will be directly to the macos instead having to wait 5 seconds. If you want really have a real mac, make it fast boot on bios/uefi though I wouldn't recommend as after you turn this on, you will not able to go bios again unless you go to windows and use windows' shift+restart...
Apple store works flawlessly, but these two won't work at all... Even I make a new account, it will still get me the contact support error... so frustrated

It would've been great if you said "Go to 3:38 in the video to see instructions if you use Clover". Anyway, I followed your Clover instructions and I still can't get iMessage or FaceTime to work. For iMessage I get: "Could not sign in to iMessage. An error occurred during activation. Try again." Which is the error I always got. And for FaceTime I get: "This account has no reachable addresses. Please sign in to appleid.apple.com in order to add one." I go to the url and I've added a second email address and my mobile phone number to my Apple ID account and it makes no difference. I still get the same error message.

Use smbios to generate a new batch of serial numbers. Make sure that after you place the numbers in, that you click away as in somewhere else on the PLIST before you click save. The numbers being replaced should NOT be highlighted when you click on save. This happened to me because after pasting I would immediately click save without clicking away from the highlighted number I had just pasted.
Diego López Correa I don‘t know anything about hackintosh... but i suggest you check if the monitor cable is plugged in propperly... if that doesn‘t help try a different cable.

Have you found app or service that requires the PlatformInfo | Generic | ROM value to be set to a unique 6 byte value? I ask because the opencore config.plist sanity checker [ opencore.slowgeek.com/ ] complains if you have unique mlb, serialno, uuid settings but ROM is still using the default value. fyi, the github.com/corpnewt/MountEFI download provides a command line story for mounting efi partitions from macOS environment if using opencore and not wanting to have to use anything from clover story.

I have two questions for you 1) it looks like GPU (Radeon VEGA 64 )is not correctly recognized in editing and benchmark software / I'm having different results in WIN and Catalina. Is there any fix how enable hardware acceleration? I have found one for clover but it would be great to have one for Opencore. ( th-cam.com/video/OyFYBss5jDo/w-d-xo.html ). Other question is regarding Verbose mode, I’ve remove (-v) from boot arg but doesn’t seem to take away all of the lines. @@egiman1982 I think if u use opencore with the correct smbios hardware acceleration is enable, I tested mine (ryzen 5 2600 and rx580) with different bios' and it seems imacpro1, 1 enables hardware acceleration. I used the the same app in your linked video to check if hardware acceleration is enabled. I also noticed if I used the smbios imac18, 3(imac 2013) my geekbench score is higher compared to smbios imacpro1, 1 but hardware acceleration is disabled according to the same app I tested with the imacpro1, 1 smbios

Hi Alexa! The text before the boot menu I don't know yet. After the boot menu remove -v under boot-args in the config.plist

You need one. Refer to the Opencore guide. It will tell which one to use.

You have to copy the EFI folder from your USB EFI partition to the EFI partition on your hard drive.

The text before selecting your boot drive will not go away yet. Just after selecting your boot drive in Opencore.
Check your config.plist again and make sure -v is gone. I had that happen once. Thanks Soumendra!
