It can be not so good sometimes if those new managers bring their prejudices and personal vendettas with them. I've seen communities ruined by hiring people from within the community, since they're TOO close to things to be properly objective and fair. Not saying that's the case with Marks, I don't know him personally, but just saying it doesn't always work out well.
I will also say not just anyone could have got this job. I think one of the main things they saw in you despite your acumen for the technical side is that you are an open person you didn't have to lend me some of your footage to make a soundtrack for you also didn't have to post it on your community here on TH-cam either but you did and it was lovely. So big ups to you Marks.

You need to represent us and let them know what we really want. Like base building updates. Add digital locks for the love of god. and add a actual sniper scope for the SNIPER rifle they added.
shrugs on digital locks, but having more realistic interaction with locks. or like the lock mod that remembers combos but keeps the realistic delay instead of insta in/out. But yeah, there really needs to be some new improvements overall.
Definitely more realistic base building. I don't give a damn about new animals lol... fully customizable guns. You could technically put any optic on any gun you want in real life. You should be able to put the hunting scope on any rifle

Could you ask the devs to allow the rope belt and the knife sheath to carry the stone knife and bone knife. Maybe adding more improvised gear bone armour, wooden plank clubs with nails, crude crossbows and eventually adding the bow and arrow. Would be nice to see more player crafted items in game.
