How can we so sure that 'NO study has been conducted on the TOPIC' ? What about the future research suggested from the previous studies or the deficiency of the literature ? Which one is the research gap ?
Also, if it's simply a "problem", like corruption, you don't need to do research to solve it. All you need is good policy and a leader with a political will. It's long discussion, but all types of research begins with a "gap".
As to how we determine whether no one has done yet on that topic, THAT'S the reason why we have "Literature Review". That's one of the main functions of the Literature Review.

You need to address this so you may argue for the urgency of your research to preserve your dialect. 2) Conduct an initial literature review and see if no one has done research on this topic. Be as extensive as possible. 3) What would be the working title of your proposed research? More discussion next time. Meantime, please address the three points raised above. I hope this helps.
