I've done a few gravel rides and the thing i love is the lack of cars and being able to ride with mates without worrying an angry car driver is gonna clart us off the road

Being from Warrington I have ridden most of this one quite a lot. Marbury park has a lot of trails in it good for a gravel bike. I also go to up delamere forest from the whitegateway and then oakmere way. Ridden the long path along the river Dee many times. Often when coming back from bikepacking in Wales. Once at night on my way back from a bikepacking trip I came across the tidal boar. Was able to keep up with it easily on bike! Plenty of times I have seen the Airbus transporter planes take off from right next to the river. Could extend the route even further and go from Neston along the coast of kirby clockwise all the way to the Queens tunnel or the Ferry then to liverpool. That is 90% offroad! I like going through the tunnel, bikes can do it after 8pm usually. but its shut now for maintenance but I believe can ring ans ask if police will escort cycles through. Or take Ferry! From Liverpool can link up to trans penn trail to extend loop.
