@derasw-xx5oo many jobs are always available if you are not choosy like health care workers, sales clerks in grocery stores,in malls and even food workers in fast food establishments.
Came to Camp Shilo in 1977 as a German soldier and got to know a young lady named Sharon Br... I often think of her and how life might have treated her. Sad to know that I will never see her again in my life 😢
This video was taken on a holiday I guess -as expected less people are seen walking on the streets during holidays and weekends. You’re right so few high rise buildings here too.
Compared to European standards, Brandon isn’t really a city. It’s more like a large town so there wouldn’t be any office towers or a real downtown. Also, in most Canadian cities people don’t walk much, not like in European cities or towns. There are only malls to drive to, not a lot of destinations to walk to.
@SurlyShirley People around Brandon loves the outdoors during the warmer weather like late spring, summer and fall. You’re right not much grand buildings or malls here which for me it makes sense because there’s plenty of outdoor activities people enjoy better to mention a few - like camping ,fishing hunting ,picnics , kayaking, boating ,strolling and more.Reconnecting with nature and disconnecting from our daily routine for a while feels good. Brandon is the second largest city in the province of Manitoba Canada .It was on May 30,1882 the Manitoba government passed a bill incorporating Brandon as a city with a total of 52,829 as of year 2024( according to wikipedia)
