We used a training collar on a dog very briefly that was set to correct her after she barked loudly twice in a row. The dog took about a day to realize this and suddenly would only bark once loud and then once quietly and then once loud again.
Puppies are smart when they want to be.

I'm writing this after just opening the box, reading through everything and trying out all the features of this impressive product. What an engineering marvel! The purpose captivated me because my little doodle loves to bark at people passing by our back porch, and that's not only embarrassing but could eventually get us into a lot of trouble with our neighbors.
