I love this one too😊. For Oklahoma the price is high however I'd probably pay their asking price. Y'all crack me up and I love the humor. God Bless you both always 🤗🤗🤗
One of the few things that Florida does differently that is not crazy, is the 500 sq. ft. park model. It’s really the size that people want for a park model.
Thank you so much left you a little mess under your post pic. 11:47 exellent info ( zone 1 and 2 ) clean and brand new. Question: excuse my ignorance - one of the differencea between regular houses is that - you can move these type of houses from one state to other states right ?!
With the size of the hallway we were hoping the bathroom door was wider. Tammy had a broken leg a year ago and it was difficult to get the wheelchair into our bathroom even though we live in a standard residential home.
A loft might be nice, it just takes away from ceiling height. In the Florida park models, they don't tend to do a lot of lofts in floor plans, as they are intended as retirement homes for folks, and a lot of elderly people don't want or like the idea of a loft.
If it is HUD it would be real property so you would pay real estate tax. If it is a typical “park model RV” it would be taxed as personal property like an RV. Generally park models are less than 400 square feet.
The issue is Clayton owns 80% of the manufactured home builders in the US. They may operate under their original or old names, but they are under Clayton - which is a Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffet) owned company. Some Clayton divisions / companies do make very good quality homes, and their park model RV's which are made in Alabama are of good quality. Other lines are not that good. In our experience though, Chariot Eagle (owned by Caveco), Skyhawk (owned independently by the man who founded and sold Chariot Eagle to Caveco); and Skyline (owned by Skyline Champion) seem to all make very good quality park models. The fact that they also make the FL HUD 500 square foot homes is a big bonus and bang for the buck!
@50pluslife360 yes I've noticed that at least some of "Clayton" homes are very basic, cheap and dark on the inside. I didn't know they owned 80% of the manufactured home builders but am aware that they seem to offer the best prices. I haven't done much research to be honest with you but I'm learning more by watching you two.
Depends on where you live. Different locales have different rules and regulations. For example, in Alabama in 95% of the counties, you can live in a regular RV, a house, a mobile home, a shed conversion, a park model RV, a tiny house, a tiny house on wheels, an ADU, etc. without any issues. In other places you can only live in an RV park model as if it was a normal RV (driveable, towable, etc.). You have to move it every 14 days. In Florida, these RV park models meet HUD standards and are allowed to be used as permanent dwellings in locales within FL that allow them (i.e. many of the senior living communities in central and south FL). Most of these communities rent lots to seniors. Lot rent can range from $400 per month up to $1200 or more depending on location and amenities offered in the community.
Does this couple know the first thing about this house? I’m not sure why they’re showing it to us if they don’t know how things work or what things are.
No. We don't know anything. Can't tell a dishwasher from a microwave. We actually tried to cook our lunch in the dishwasher later and it didn't work out too well. Seriously though, we did a pretty decent job, or at least we thought so, considering it was about house number 7 for the day we toured and recorded. But, if you need help telling a range from a dishwasher and we were of no use to you, go watch another channel.
@@50pluslife360 goodness, I’m so glad you’re true colors come out. You put yourself on TH-cam, and the minute I comment, you come back rude. I know what appliances are, perhaps you should take a class in what appliances are used for what purpose. If you’re trying to sell something, maybe being rude and uneducated won’t help.
We aren't trying to sell anything. We don't work for any manufacturer or dealer. We just don't appreciate rude comments on our channel, especially when we're doing our best and learning as we go along. We'll return rude for rude - and that is our true color. If you don't like the video, then just don't comment, change the channel, watch someone else. You put yourself on TH-cam as well by leaving a rude comment.
Nah, we're not victims. We're blessed beyond measure and just trying to enjoy what life we have left. It's just that too many people out there behind their keyboards are victims of their own stupidity. We fall victim to that too once in a while.

Thanks for watching! God bless! Check out our Texas cabin / shed videos as well! They have great homes and great prices.
I don't think it's overpriced at all, just look at home prices $400,000 and up. Everything is ridiculous anymore! Thanks you both for the tour. 🌞💕🌞
Yes you are right. Prices are nutso right now! Thanks for continuing to support us!
Your very Welcome, as long as you make Videos your stuck with me. ☺❤
I really like how the dishwasher is on the right side. What a great island.
Yes in this model they sacrificed dining room space for the living room and kitchen layout so the island ends up being the only real eating area.

❤LOVE THIS ONE !
That is a very interesting microwave 😂Pretty good price for all that space!
Nice home!
Thank you!

For the most part, yes, as long as the park or place you are setting it allows HUD Park Models.
That is so gorgeous!
Doorways are always bigger for the bedrooms but bathrooms are always smaller size. This even in houses as well.
With the size of the hallway we were hoping the bathroom door was wider. Tammy had a broken leg a year ago and it was difficult to get the wheelchair into our bathroom even though we live in a standard residential home.
Paul I have heard of people cooking pasta in those under counter microwaves. 😂
I think somewhere in the back of my mind, I remember reading about that! I guess you could since the water gets to 140 deg.!
I think what’s missing is a huge loft

Do you pay property taxes on this type home

Really nice model. Way better than Clayton.

Where do you place these once you buy?

Don't watch then, or turn the volume down. She doesn't want to talk unless I screw something up! LOL
