@LionFromJam I agree. Africa nice bad. Some place in south America is very beautiful like in Colombia up in the mountains. But when it comes to culture since I'm Jamaican that for me is number 1.

Check Reitch Falls (Reach falls), let the show you the jacuzzi upstairs and the lovers cave down stairs. And that is just one little tiny part of the thing. Man?!? I don't see any beater yet.

Been to Jamaica quite a few times. The island is magical, but the humidity there was so hard for me. Even now when I see this footage, if feel like it suddenly became hard to breathe. 🙂

Jamaica is very beautiful. However, the crime rate makes it unsafe.
It's sad that most visitors only get a Jamaican resort experience and not the true culture and people. Then again, there are many guests who are happy with a great resort experience.
I know of Jamaicans who will not retire to Jamaica of the fear that they will become an instant target... even the folks in the gated communities are not safe.
I am not saying this to be negative, but it's a heart-wrenching sad reality.
We hope authority will take necessary steps to make Jamaica more safer.
Crime is not unique to jamaica and Jamaicans are working quite hard to reduce crime violence and we are seeing good results. It is unfortunate that we have people like you who use fear to determine things when in fact Jamaicans are retiring to Jamaicans and others alike who vist and make Jamaica home. Every year we have over 500 people from other countries that takes up jamaican citizenship
