- What is up, my watch friends?!? So, check this out… I have fallen in love with Casio Oceanus as a brand and have totally gone down that rabbit hole. Today I want to compare three of these beautiful watches: Casio Oceanus OCW-T3000-2AJF, Casio Oceanus OCW-S100-1AJF, and Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S-1AJF. Let’s talk a little about the specs, bracelets, case materials, dials, and how they wear on wrist (the case sizes on these surprised me with how they wear on wrist). Do you own one of these or another Oceanus? Which one of these three would be your keeper?

You forgot the best thing about these Oceanus watches: it's says "Casio" on the dial so when I bring one of these home, my wife thinks I only spent $100 on it.
Thats funny haha
It's the same for me! :) We'll shoud found a party!
Lol good point. Guilt level dropped to 0.
I got the T200 and I was a bit sceptical because of not being titanium but when I put it on my wrist I just couldn't take my eyes of it. Simple and beautiful
T200 here too. It’s just fine with the stainless. I switch a blue Barton leather strap on it and both create different watches. Looking to try a brown leather one soon….but also looking at used Mantas for @ $6-700, beautiful.
Love my T200. It's sophisticated, and has great attention to detail, yet still fun and playful. Sure, I would have preferred it in titanium, but definitely not a deal breaker.
For me, the T200 without a doubt. Really, really cool watch for the price.
The T200 is my grail. Fantastic watch.
Amazing watches!!! I want T200, such a beauty
Check out the T200 indices in the sunlight. They give out a rainbow hue which looks amazing.
I chose to buy the S100 because I wanted the more basic watch. It is absolutely beautiful just the way it is.
The watch you are looking for with the cool blue is the Casio OCEANUS OCW-T200S-1AJF. The T100 sucks in the way you can't swap out the bracelet.
Wearing my t200 right now, it’s my grab and go watch.
Greetings form NZ! I bought the same T3000 as you show here, Josh. Got it online from a store in Osaka. Absolutely LOVE it! The finishing on this watch is outstanding. I have never seen such gorgeous work on a titanium bracelet, the glass is also to die for. The best grand I have spent on a watch, period. (I have over 30). My first digital watch was a Casio, way back in the 80's (when they cost way more than they do now). From what I have seen on reviews of more expensive offerings in the Oceanus range, the motors on the 3000 are blindingly fast after the watch has not seen daylight after it goes into it's 'sleep' mode. The best value oceanus out there!
Got the OCW-T150-AJF (light blue), 41,3 mm case and micro adjust bracelet (5mm). Just love it, amazing quality. Highly recommended.
I totally prefer the OCW-T150-1AJF over the OCW-T200. (I've got the T150 and S100 both. Really perfect watches if you ask me (for the price range).)
Not only because the T150 is titanium, but also because of the quick-adjustment clasp as well as the beautiful dial, with some nice color (in the y/n section on the dial, used for showing the result of the last radio-sync).
Hi, I like your video and comparison focusing on some specific points. Did you try looking at the OCW-100F, F is a blue dial variant. Additionally you could check the T150 which also has the Titanium with easy micro adjust.
Cheers
Mid-blue OCW-T200SLE-2AJR owner here. 3-hander, steel on leather, per my preferences.
What can I say? It's just perfect.
I'm finding myself in the same dilemma! Just picked up the T200 and love it for it's 3 hander simplicity, but would really like the AR coating, titanium and integrated micro adjust of the T3000. Come on Oceanus, give us this model very soon!!
Welcome to the Oceanus club. I started collecting SEIKOs, then G-Shocks. Then I discovered Oceanus and fell in love. I now own the T-200S, S-5000 Manta, and I recently bought the P-2000, which is my favorite. All three of these have Bluetooth, Multi-Band 6, and Tough Solar features. The T100 does not have Bluetooth. The finishing (sallaz/zaratsu polishing) is AMAZING! Have fun!!
200 all day!! Love em all ….the 200 checks all boxes…
For me it is the s100, slightly retro, domed sappire, very nice titanium bracelet, and by the way always accurate, At around 400USD, is there a better watch?
I totally agree. The world time function is also nice. And the T200 has bluetooth which IMO is straying into smartwatch territory. The S100 also has Zaratsu polishing. I have a T2610 with the Zaratsu finish and it is really nice.
They're really great. I particularly like the chronographs, such as the T3000 or S4000D. The S7000 is splendid for anyone who can afford it.
I have both the OCW-S100-1AJF (which you review) and the lesser-known OCW-T150-1AJF. I find myself wearing the T150 more than the S100 for some reason (I truly don't know why - I just do).
It's a Titanium watch and band, the band has built-in microadjustment with its milled clasp, it has a flat sapphire crystal, and the date wheel is white text on a black background. The machining of the watch is equivalent in quality to that of the S100. It probably ticks several of your boxes. It has a movement that is functionally equivalent to the S100's movement, but the hands move different places on the dial for status information. The S100 is movement 5235, the T150 movement is 5414. The manual for both movements is the same document: "Operation Guide 5235/5414."
It's dam near impossible to find anything on TH-cam about the T150, but look around with the typical Japanese Domestic watch sites, Amazon and, of course, Ebay and you'll find the watch.
Take a look at the T150 - I think you'll be impressed too!
Maybe you’re wearing it more because the micro adjustments in the clasp make it more comfortable? I wish the 100 had that!
@@bryanb4308 No denying that the micro adjustment clasp is very nice!
For the T150, would you say the AR is more similar to the 100 or the 3000 like this video? I really like the 150, thanks for bringing it up!
@@JamyRyals T150 crystal has a completely flat surface, and I've never noticed a reflection problem with it.
I'd imagine that the 3000 AR is better, but I don't have one with which to compare.
Enjoyed your comparison! I'm considering the OCW-S100 you compare here, but I have a question; will the micro-adjust clasp on the T-3000 fit the OSW-S100, and if so, can it be purchased separately from Casio or some other source? Thanks for the great content!
I wanted to know this same thing.
I have become a huge Oceanus fan. I started with the T-200 for it minimalistic look, BUT it has the tech of Multi-band 6 and Bluetooth. The S-100 doesn't. The app is really cool, too. I then came into a few bucks when my mom passed and I bought the S-5000 Manta, an amazingly lightweight and thin watch. Beautifully finished with Zuratsu polishing (all Oceanuses receive the polishing). I recently purchased the P-2000 with the blue sapphire bezel. All great watches but the P-2000 seems to be getting the most wrist time.
I have S100 and T200. S100 fits me better as I have very small wrist. Both have multi-band 6 but T200 also has bluethooth connection which is easier to sync the time with phone. Both of them are great watch at that price point. Both of them have simple and clean design. Love them.
Do you have favourite? I am not sure what to get I have a 6 3/4" wrist
I have the T200S and I really like it, for me it's a keeper. But like you I wish there was an identical watch to the T200S in titanium.
Nice , Elengant watch but hopefully smaller size 37mm . Thanks for warm presentation 👍👍👍
I have the OCW-T200S, which I wear on a Perlon strap most of the time because of its infinite adjustability, and the OCW-T4000, which I wear on the original titanium bracelet which has the toolless micro-adjust. I prefer the simple dial of the T200S, but the T4000 has dual time which is helpful to me, so I'm keeping both.
I have a 6.5"/167mm wrist, these watches are about as big as I'd want to wear.
One thing to mention about both watches: they do not scratch up easily, I expected that about the T4000 because of its titanium carbide coating, but I've worn the heck out of the T200S for over a year and it looks almost new, except for the T200S' clasp.
S100 is the best looking watch for me, true stunner!
Love the T200, the simplest but probably my favourite of the bunch. The S100 is probably a better watch, but I'm not really a bracelet guy so I'd love the T200 on a leather or nato.
Have you thought about the newer T5000 (square)? Would love to have your opinion on it. I currently own the T200 and the lack of adjustable clasp is a problem, and also the easy to break crown
Digging the T3000. I'm an Edifice 1100 guy which are great too.
Even the Oceanus has their own design but I like that kind of "Tag Heuer" touch.
I want a Casio Oceanus S100, Titanium with that polishing, atomic time, sapphire crystal, and a bit of a retro look. My collection is nearly at 20 watches, mostly Casio, Citizen, and Chinese Microbrands. Wear an Addiesdive Submariner a lot as a beater and I’m really impressed for the price. I feel the S100 will be my everyday piece and really finishes off my collection. Even when I get a Rolex Submariner I imagine I’ll wear Casio’s far more frequently.
I have three Addies too. I love them as much as my more expensive watches. They are great watches and reasonably priced 👍
I have the S100 Black and T150 Light Blue.
Bro, also take a look at the casio prw-70 and prw-73. I think you might also like the styling and functions on those.
Check out the OCW-P2000C-2AJF Cachalot. The sapphire blue red bezel is amazing.
Well, you dont have wrists, you have ankles
Man, I am so impressed with the Casio Oceanus that I bot the s100 n subsequently the t200.
What do you prefer please and what wears bigger ?
Wear my T200 almost every day.
My name is Marcus and I'm a Watchalcholic! Casio Is great. I'm looking for a SubDial with a two hander Second Time Zone. T3000 is real nice. The new Manta nicer, but more money.
I put a Chinese rubber strap with an adjustable buckle on my T200. Wonderful! Look at the Oceanus OCW-S5000 Manta. Total Ti man jewelry!
Does the S100 come in a version with a true dark blue dial? The T3000 apparently does.
I want the T200. Imo it looks better than the 100 and that’s a very nice looking watch but the T200 does it for me. The 3000 is to busy for me. I
They're all beautiful, but I still think that T3000 takes the cake.
Still rocking this watch? Happy and wearing with it after a few months?
You should get a caliper to discover S100 and T200 are basically the same size. Also, I wouldn't go for anything larger than 40mm on your wrist (that s100 looks just right), with the exception of OCW-P2000, which gets a pass for being a pro-diver.
The SW100 is the GOAT
I have the t200. I love it in low light. I don't like it in the bright sunlight. Too much bling for me. I also wish it was titanium and had the quick adjustment clasp too. Thinking about switching it out for the s100. Titanium and less bling. My perfect Oceanus would be the t3000 with less bling (matte dial and more brushing). It's way too much for my eyes in bright sunlight the way it is. (I had the blue t3000 for a short while)
I've been eyeing Oceanus for a few years and my dad has one, 3 hand date and not sure what model but with them all being over 41mm and all dial they just look too big on me. But I didn't stop there, I even looked at women's models and they are all too small. I'm surprised that a JDM only brand doesn't have anything for the 6-6.5" wristed person. I know the specs are not accurately provided by Oceanus but even still they're too big, I do hope they downsize at some point.
Honestly, the Oceanus watches look awesome, and feel premium, but from a practical side they are way worse than the much cheaper Lineage series. The Lineage watches are ana-digi, and basically all the functions are way easier and faster to use. The chronograph, timer, world time, alarms, led light, are features that are way worse on the Oceanus, or just missing all together. I have watches from both lines, the Lineage is just a much better watch, the difference is in fit and finish, perceived quality which is obviously much higher for the Oceanus. But my go to everyday watch would be a Lineage if given only one choice (or a G-Shock)
I disagree. I couldn't wear Lineage just due to the aesthetics reason. The finishing is just different.
@@anonymousu6440 I think the design basics is better on the Lineage too, just executed to a lesser quality. I wish they made Oceanus watches with ana-digi, they used to do it in the past
@@d3xmeister yeah that's just your opinion. I couldn't disagree more. I own some higher end watches including Breitling and GS. I would never choose to wear a Lineage. I can wear an Oceanus all year long.
@@anonymousu6440 So, it is pure snobbery, just as I suspected from the start. It’s ok.
@@d3xmeister not wearing due to bad finishing = snob? Your mom would be so proud of you..!
you can try the T5000, S6000, S5000
Of Course is OCW-S6000SW-2AJR
Does anyone know of a Casio Oceanus which has a timer and alarm function, that you can still buy today?
I've been looking everywhere for one, but can't seem to find one. (There has to be one though, right?)
i have also looksd for an oceanus with alarm but with no success.
i have the T200 oceanus With bluetooth but no alarm
манта интересна толщиной, t4000 - двойной сапфир, титановый универсальный ремешок, g2000 - Объемная стрелка и gps
going down the rabbit hole would be to know what is the Kallergi plan
I know what it is. A very insidious Jewish plot.
T200 самые крутые!
i hate the bezel on t3000( with those numbers;that excellent ar coating is dwarfed by the hideous bezel; the blue accents on s100 can never be matched by any other watch on the planet, ever, but sadly that bracelet is soldered in with the watch; i love the stainless bracelet and interchangeability on s200, i would choose s100 over all 3 of them for one thing that s100 has, and no other watch on the planet has: the blue accents. one notable mention: the s200 DOES NOT have s100's blue accents
All the second hands should be synchronized
😍
