Oppo Rancisis was brought in late but the fact that they gave him a new lightsaber shows we wear going to see him in action at some point. Depa Billaba almost made it and they wear able to reuse the model and we hear her voice in Bad Batch. Kcaj didn’t get anything. He was just there like in the film. I really hope Dave thinks of him when making Tales of the Jedi season 2. I want to see his model up close, I want to see his lightsaber, I want to hear his voice and what he sounds like. Im so intrigued by this guy because of this. Him and Pablo Jill (his original identity) deserve something.

To be honest, I always felt the number of people involved in the Clone Wars was a bit off, the Kaminoans told Obi-Wan they had 200k clones ready and a million in priduction... so they spread 1.2M clones (if they were ready, which I doubt) plus 10k Jedi (my guess clones on this video count kids too) top in a Republic of thousands of worlds... during WWII, Poland alone mobilized that number of soldiers, and I guess WWII had 50M+ soldiers fighting at the same time in ONE PLANET. I originally thought maybe in Star Wars, having a lot of worlds makes them far less populated, but I don't know, but we saw worlds with big cities, so I don't think so (Theed in Naboo looked so small for a planet with a representative on the Republic). So, I stopped caring about numbers or accuracy after seeing clones behaving like Napoleonic-time soldiers (fighting forming a line) instead of modern tactics, Star Wars is space fantasy, so I don't care about it 😂
He also didn't fully think through putting it right next to Order 65, the one that removes his Senate power, if he slipped up and said to execute order 65, it just ends there

George Lucas said his ST would have been about Luke looking for survivors of Order 66 and out of the 100,000 Jedi (His words) about 50-100 survived and made it past the Original Trilogy. Thats just 1% and they live in a galaxy full of countless planets and trillions of lifeforms. Its not a bad number. Both the old EU and the EU did it right.

At least George wouldn't character assassinate his own characters and would actually treat the franchise with respect. Heck, if his Sequels were about looking for surviving Jedi then they could slot right in at ANY point after Return of the Jedi and the EU probably wouldn't have to drastically change so long as his Sequels didn't massively retcon anything or bring Palpatine back again, but he'd probably give SOME explanation in the movies if he did unlike Disney who left THAT to the supplemental material.

It was an excuse to be able to measure a person's attunement to the Force, and justify some non Force users having unusually higher senses and skill. Remove them, and the stories work just fine. We already know from the OT that only some people are born Force sensitive.

Well hot damn that little green guy sure knows how to travel from one Mid Rim World to THE Core World in such a short time frame. Those Hyperspace Rings sure are quite efficient, even if fragile like heck. And hot damn you & RedSun are like a dang well cooked combo with these types of vids. Uncommon yet always a pleasure when it happens.
I get that revealing new characters that are revealed to be order 66 survivors makes it feel less impactful, but that seems to be because those characters are given their own story. Would there still be this kind of out roar if Lucas made his sequel trilogy with survivors in the new jedi order? This could also be because of Yoda telling Luke he'll be the last of the jedi in episode 6. But it's not like Yoda knew EVERYTHING. Plus, Lucas made last minute changes all the time. Luke and Leia weren't supposed to be sibling when they kissed, the plot twist about Luke's father was going to be that Obi-Wan killed him instead of being Vader, and Obi-Wan told Luke that Yoda trained him when it was Qui-Gon.
Not too mention in the legends series there seemed to be a least a couple of Jedi left like Kyle some crazy Jedi on a winter world and I wanna say a couple others I’m not too sure because I don’t know much about what happened after episode 6 but in a book I was reading Luke’s new order had a least enough for a new counsel

Luke was the last Jedi, the survivors of Order 66 all gave up being Jedi, they may have still done good... but they were no longer abiding by the Jedi Order.
In a way Yoda did train Obi-wan, since Yoda spent much of his time teaching younglings during the latter decades of the Republic. "So what I told you is true- from a certain point of view..."
@@Fordo007 That's kinda true actually. Cal Kestis got into a relationship with Merrin. Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus had a kid with Hera Syndulla. Bode Akuna had a kid and ended up working for the ISB. Ahsoka Tano left the Jedi Order before Order 66. The list goes on but very few if any (other than Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda) claimed to be Jedi AND abided by all the Order's rules during the Rebellion era.
This is one of the best Star Wars sketches I have seen! It actually goes into the lore and doesn't just hit you with overdone memes. Yoda truly was balling down the processional way. GRAND MASTER GAMING!
I honestly don't mind how many Jedi survived Order 66, cuz like you'd have to be super lucky that a genocide like that against people with sabers that can cut through anything and deflect lasers alongside telekinesis and other crazy abilities actually would have worked without a hitch.
I remember reading that Palpatine actually didnt mind that some Jedi escaped Order 66. He thought it was appropriate that the Jedi had been forced into hiding much like the Sith for the past millenium.

I mean this is nothing until you go into 80s-90s legends, there's jedi all over star wars prior to the phantom menace movie came out. like prior to 1997 there were just jedi everywhere in legends. Surviving Order 66 was pretty much a piece of cake. prior to 2005 the Jedi purge basically was, the reduction of jedi not the extermination of jedi. A list of names from comics and books most of us forgot about.
Imagine if instead of Order 66, Anakin gathers a bunch of Jedi followers and starts a Jedi Civil War. The Chancellor (and therefore the military) backs Anakin's side

The Jedi and democratic system they protected held a lot of legitimacy, so it's kinda foolhardy to do away with both overnight. Give yourself unlimited powers, but don't actually CALL yourself "Emperor"- it's not gonna track well with a population that's had elected representation for 20k years
Keep on mind also, that the majority of Vader's time before A new Hope, was spent hunting down surviving Jedi. So yeah... order 66 was quite effective with Vader added to the mix.

In the canon Vader comics, it was confirmed Jocasta Nu survived but was one of Vader's first victims post order 66
@@angmarmidknight527 she was killed during the temple attack in legends, specifically the old revenge of the Sith video game. But in canon she survived order 66 but Vader hunted her down fairly early into his inquisition of the Jedi.

I get that revealing new characters that are revealed to be order 66 survivors makes it feel less impactful, but that seems to be because those characters are given their own story. Would there still be this kind of out roar if Lucas made his sequel trilogy with survivors in the new jedi order?
This could also be because of Yoda telling Luke he'll be the last of the jedi in episode 6. But it's not like Yoda knew EVERYTHING. Plus, Lucas made last minute changes all the time. Luke and Leia weren't supposed to be sibling when they kissed, the plot twist about Luke's father was going to be that Obi-Wan killed him instead of being Vader, and Obi-Wan told Luke that Yoda trained him when it was Qui-Gon.
Not too mention in the legends series there seemed to be a least a couple of Jedi left like Kyle some crazy Jedi on a winter world and I wanna say a couple others I’m not too sure because I don’t know much about what happened after episode 6 but in a book I was reading Luke’s new order had a least enough for a new counsel
@@ethancrashyeah, Luke's order had at least 5 survivors of order 66. And in canon we are not that far from that, Ahsoka, the bad guy from her show, Cal (maybe?) And the future character from Skeleton crew
Luke was the last Jedi, the survivors of Order 66 all gave up being Jedi, they may have still done good... but they were no longer abiding by the Jedi Order.
In a way Yoda did train Obi-wan, since Yoda spent much of his time teaching younglings during the latter decades of the Republic.

@@Fordo007 That's kinda true actually. Cal Kestis got into a relationship with Merrin. Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus had a kid with Hera Syndulla. Bode Akuna had a kid and ended up working for the ISB. Ahsoka Tano left the Jedi Order before Order 66. The list goes on but very few if any (other than Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda) claimed to be Jedi AND abided by all the Order's rules during the Rebellion era.

I honestly don't mind how many Jedi survived Order 66, cuz like you'd have to be super lucky that a genocide like that against people with sabers that can cut through anything and deflect lasers alongside telekinesis and other crazy abilities actually would have worked without a hitch.

I mean this is nothing until you go into 80s-90s legends, there's jedi all over star wars prior to the phantom menace movie came out. like prior to 1997 there were just jedi everywhere in legends. Surviving Order 66 was pretty much a piece of cake.
prior to 2005 the Jedi purge basically was, the reduction of jedi not the extermination of jedi.

The Jedi and democratic system they protected held a lot of legitimacy, so it's kinda foolhardy to do away with both overnight. Give yourself unlimited powers, but don't actually CALL yourself "Emperor"- it's not gonna track well with a population that's had elected representation for 20k years

And he WAS. Bro was an absolute menace to Palpatine. He crippled his apprentice on Mustafar, hid Anakin's children, 10 years later went out of the desert and beat his apprentice for the 2nd time, trained Luke who was the catalyst in defeating him, and as a Force ghost guided Luke in destroying the first death star. Cody messed up big time for failing to kill Kenobi
(Not to mention even before Order 66 Obi-wan killed his previous apprentice Maul lmao bro was a consistent thorn in Palpatine's side)
