Homemade DIY Dog Treats at home Bison Cheddar

Treat time! Bison Cheddar dog treats = - )
What you will need:
*1lb ground bison
*1 bag shredded cheddar cheese (fat free preferred)
*Vegetable Oil
*Beef Broth (low sodium preferred)
*unbleached flour (alternative Wholewheat flour)
From the Kitchen:
-3 mixing bowls
-Rolling pin
-Cookie cutter(s)
-Baking Trays
-Parchment paper
-1/3 measuring cup
-1 tablespoon
(x2) 1/2 tablespoon (or share one between cheese and bison)
Measuring cup (Minimum 2 cups)
-prep or cutting board
-Mix large bowl 2 cups of flour, 1/2 tablespoon shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 tablespoon ground bison, 1/3 cup beef broth, and lastly, 6 tablespoons of vegetable. Mix well into ball shape.
-Prep your baking trays and line with parchment paper. Use a prep or cutting board to roll out your dough to aprox 1/4 - 1/2 inch thickness. Pick out a cookie cutter of your choice and press out what will soon be your dog's new favorite treat!
-place your pressed cookies onto the parchment paper lined baking trays place in oven and close your door. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for approximately 10-15 mins. Turn off oven. Leave cookies and trays inside with door closed to help dry out your dog treats.
-Once the treats are room temperature, you can place in ziplock bag or food container with lid.

I just wanted to know if I don't have ground bison would it still work if I replaced it with another ground meat like beef for an example?
