Aemond and Ewan's fans hyped this season so much on every platform only to get 10 minutes of Aemond in a rushed arc of him being demonized overnight... It's not fair. And Ewan is missing from all bts content. It's so sad, you guys make people depressed.

Because they aren't good looking in any sense of the word 😂they were casted because they looked so strange and game of thrones got flack for having to many good looking people. If you notice in this show there's hardly any beautiful people shown and zero nudity other than the brothel scene 😂and that's obvious because its all unattractive people who you wouldn't want to see naked😂

You can hear the Mancunian slip in to Aegon and Alicent sometimes. Doesn’t detract from the stellar performances by Tom and Olivia though, by any means.

@@Ryan30zliterally no Americans have commented under this indicating any sort of confusion. And we would be able to discern the difference between regional accents of the UK we just wouldn’t all be able to identify where exactly from. You could hear a southern (United States) accent and know it’s southern but I’m sure you wouldn’t be able to say which state
Honestly I have a feeling Tom Glynn-Carney is going to be the MVP of the season, his performance as Aegon II in the first episode is already top-notch. Everyone thought he was going to be Joffrey 2.0 but he's not, their are layers to his character. I really loved the court petitions scene in the throne room you could tell he wants to be liked by the smallfolk but still doesn't know how to be "king" because he was never regarded as the "heir" or trained by Viserys but still he was trying. Every scene of Aegon II in the episode was really interesting. You could tell the showrunners and writers really want to explore this character more and Tom looks like he's having fun playing him. Can't wait to see his reaction when he finds out Jaehaerys is dead, Bring on episode 2.
Aegon is the one of the most complex if not THE most complex character in the whole show. He has so, so many “layers” and “faces” to who he is. As horrible as it sounds, I’m really, really going to enjoy the next two/three episodes bc I know Tom is just gonna nail Aegon’s grief and rage. I’m hoping he gets nommed for a Golden Globe and an Emmy next year!

He was so good in The Last Post, limited series (spoiler: particularly in a scene where he loses someone close to him). Definitely solidified to me that Tom is a top notch actor. Made me cry in that scene for sure.

@@queenxx1690 well we do see their dynamic? lol yes they are not the main main protagonists but they do have scenes together, the fight outside of the sept, eye contact etc! plus they do have many fans both aemond/aegon & ewan and tom so i dont think their screen time needs to be much they still have hype from the fans

Natural blond look the best like Targaryens because their eyebrows do not look weird like in Viserys case or Daenerys
@@queenxx1690 that was one of the main things that distracted me so much with Danny, the really dark eyebrows - because they contrasted a lot with her pale face and hair.
@queenxx1690 nah😂, both vis and dany carried the epitome beauty of the targaryens being described in the books. Also they dyed their brows in the 1st season. Until they didn’t with the later episodes and made danys wig more blonde than silver. Both looked ethereal when they came on screen. Imo blonde or not, skin tone and facial features has higher significance in the casting.
@@NPC1173 i was talking about Viserys from Hotd and his dark beard that make me laugh that and Dany eyebrows in later season they should blech their eyebrows it looks better and they finally use CGI and their purple eyes so they can stand out from normal people and Dany and Viserys from got were closer to Targaryen from books

@@c0ronariu5 Aegon is very nuanced in the books, the show actualy went full mashroom on him and made every nasty rumor about him true for some reason while doing the opposite for Rheanyra. I hope they do his bound with sunfyre justice

It's great. They were setting him up to be a sort of reluctant Joffrey but he's turned out to be extremely likeable.
Aegon's actor looks recognizable both in and out of costume, but Aemond's actor looks convincing as a completely different person!
You will be surprised to see Ewan (Aemond's actor) played well too as different character, Osfert in series The Last Kingdom.
Tom's performance as Aegon 2 is amazing.
This cast is top notch! Tom is definitely going to seduce more people into Team Green. Also love how Ewan is unapologetic about Aemond's obsession with Daemon. I'm praying that we see some common scenes this season.

I was looking forward to Aegon the most prior to season 2. It is the most interesting character to explore with a brilliant actor playing him. I lamented that we got so little of Tom in the last season. There is hope the writers see this now.
Aegon’s is definitely one of the more, er, eventful character arcs in the source material. Looking forward to seeing what TGC does with him.

The obsession i have for these two ❤ especially Tom he’s such a powerful actor. In the first 2 episodes of the new season his acting is wonderful ,you can feel his pain ,even though you’re supposed to hate him you cant but feel sad bout aegon, that’s all bc of the actor . Ewan too haven’t seen much of him in the first two episodes but can’t forget his performance in season 1 🔥

When it comes to voice note with a text after saying "legend," I'd like to think it was a drunk Ewan at a concert or party absolutely raving about something that isn't that exciting.
Ewan was done so dirty in the first episode of the season. Like wdym he basically had just one scene after the first season finale? Aemond started the war and he is barely on screen. Such a strange and disappointing decision. Aemond is one of the most interesting and important characters and he is always in the background. I was also hoping for more scenes of Aegon and Aemond's relationship and... well, they don't even have scenes. All that great chemistry between Tom and Ewan was wasted.

The show is about the Targaryens and he is the most important Targ on the Green side after Aegon and one of the most active Targaryens during the war in general, so why do Cole, Otto and Larys have more screen time than him?
