Creating a Nutritious Feed Foundation for Pig Farming | Italian Farm | Farming simulator 22 |

Welcome back to the Italian Farm Timelapse. Commencing with the distribution of our primary offerings, namely sunflower oil and pasta, to various retail outlets, we set our sights on expanding into the livestock domain, beginning with pig farming. The initial step in this strategic endeavor involves establishing a robust feed infrastructure. While our existing feed mill caters to bovine nutrition and mineral supplements, gearing up for pig feed production necessitates sourcing additional ingredients.
Accordingly, we mobilize our transport fleet to collect wheat and soybeans from our storage facilities, essential components for pig feed production. Additionally, we harvest canola, leveraging the yield from our two ripened fields. Employing the efficiency of a JOHN DEERE X9-1100 combine, we swiftly harvest the canola, ensuring a steady supply to our processing plant.
Moreover, to complete the formulation of pig feed, we require potatoes. With our potato fields ripe for harvesting, we invest in an additional GRIMME Ventor 4150 harvester, doubling our harvesting capacity and streamlining the procurement process.
As we initiate pig feed production, we acquire the first batch of 135 pigs, delivering the freshly prepared feed to our pig farm. Our strategic objective includes scaling up our livestock inventory, with plans to double the herd size and venture into meat processing for commercial distribution.
