Dude this is fantastic content, you're about to blow up if you keep making this stuff. Love your speaking voice, the information is concise and well paced, also the edits and jokes add a lot to the video. Great job man!!
@@Keith_Horn Nothing really to explain, it's just that Cheltenham is the epitome of Englishness, and the Name Gustav Holst sounds so much like a titanic Austrian/German Composer, it would be like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart being called Alfie Smith :o) I had to have a little look to see where his father was born, and Adolph von Holst was born in Kentish Town, Middlesex, another good ol' English name. Of course these days, anyone can come from anywhere, and the world is a better place for it, but I'm guessing if you asked 100 average people "Where was Gustav Holst born" I don't think too many would say England, let alone Cheltenham
I love the Rocky IV soundtrack, it combines the 80s epic synth cinematic sound with crunchy harmonies that just hit the right spot. The training montage theme and the final fight are both classics.

Thank so much! I'm so glad you're liking the videos!
Been watching loads of these weekly chords man so good, love from UK!
Thanks! Love from LA!
I don't why 'whas up G?' cracked me us as much as it did, but it did :)
makes me chuckle, too.
7:22 for me has a very 'twin peaks' feel to it, esp the lounge jazz finger snappy stuff
“Audrey’s Dance”! That’s a fun comparison.
Definetly
It always makes me smile that Gustav Holst was born in Cheltenham, it just seems so incongruous for the 1870s :o)
HA! I'm so American for saying this but can you explain?

@@UphillGardener-ly5sh Ahh I see. Yes I was surprised when I first learned he was English. thanks!
I love this piece! Whenever I compose with similar ideas, I like to think of it as a C b6/b9 chord
That labeling works, too!
Or Ab maj -11 no five,
Rocky IV is my favorite Rocky as well! Can you explore more DiCola chords?
Yes! I'm actually working on an interview with him for a future episode.
OMG! Yes! I will be looking forward to that! Thank you for your videos Keith!

@@aldeayeah You're right on about that. Those two cues are masterful.
Outstanding!
Thanks!
Weird... I thought you were blue...
Nice video man!
Haha!! Some days I am!
Subscribed... good content! :)
Thank you!
Looks like the 6/9 chord voicing, but the 6th and 9th are flat
That's a good ay to look at it. Add an E and you get a C6/9
