Railway architecture in NSW is a fascinating subject and I appreciate your bringing this fine example to our attention. The rail authorities have obviously taken pride historically in their buildings (at least some of the time). The innovative designs of the new Sydney Metro stations are just the latest example, if I could call them buildings!
Yeah i support bringing this line back to at bare minimum Mudgee with potential to extend it further. Unfortunately there is a rail over road overpass with the bridge missing west of gulgong. Thanks for posting a great video.
Looking at the map, the line goes to Gulgong, Dunedoo, Coonabarabran, Baradine and ends (like you said) in Gwabegar (The G is silent). I read in an ABC article that the talked about inland rail for Freight trains between Victoria and Queensland, originally was going through the town of Gwabegar as it's not now. They need to restore the line to Mudgee especially if the population increases in that town.
If you're talking directions it route (root) if we are talking networking it's route (rowt) but if you're talking Telstra well they'll just root anything that moves.
It's a shame that some rail stations closed down. Inverell is another place that could do with a train station again. Also Gundagai
I love your video, & It doesn’t matter the way you say things, it’s the content you’re shared that counts. Thank you.
Nice video. Thanks.

down to KANDOS
Mudgee as a bare minimum with potential to extend.
Up until a few years back, the line was used for freight/Coal.
7:40 A Dock Platform, so Bugs Bunny would say *"Nyaaaaa what's up, Doc(k)?"* LOL😁

I love Mudgee.
A wonderful example of the ostentatious Victorian style of public building. Even now it is an arresting sight.
Hey Phil!
Do you still have a patreon? I would love to support you.
Amazing that the Visit NSW platform hasn't done something about doing winery tours using trains...
@@stevemcintyre4398 great idea so you can drink as much as you like and not have to worried about drink driving just hop back on the train
The original Mudgee Station sign had a black background with the writing being White
why did the rail line close? Mudgee is a tourist destination. Was Mudgee station a terminating station or did the line continue somewhere?
Have a read of the comment above - the line extended thru Gulgong, Dunedoo, and other towns that currently have no rail line.
