“Crystallized intelligence is based upon facts and rooted in experiences.” I’m assuming the song was titled that because literally NOBODY knew what the hell was going on during a Freezedown.
you're correct that the name has a meaning it's named crystallized intelligence to symbolize the timeloop, of which the player has already experienced it over and over again so they have a "crystallized intelligence" of what is happening
I mentioned how these tracks felt more desolate in one of the individual OST videos. Rewatching these, it feels more like a countdown, a much larger one than the meltdown; it is the countdown to the world's end. Edit: I just realized that Frostbound has a late Crystallized Intelligence motif and that the next track, Shutdown Failure, has a motif of 4000 Degrees Kelvin, the track after Crystallized Intelligence, followed by Frozen Confidence having a motif present early in The Part Where He Kills You.
I have realized that almost all main Freezedown tracks are connected by a motif: Frozen Confidence's starting melody is a longer version of the starting melody of Shutdown Failure, and reappears at the middle segment of 4000 Degrees Kelvin and briefly at the start of The Part Where He Kills You. Frozen Confidence's percussion near the end is also very similar to that of Takeoff. This part is the one that plays over the initiation of the Code Red. Crystallized Intelligence's ending melody (not the few seconds of ambience) partially reappears in two segments of TPWHKY. The starting melody of Crystallized Intelligence also reappears as some background noise during the Shutdown Failure segment of 4KDK. 4KDK's wind noises appear in the final two segments of TPWHKY's actual music part. The only tracks without a direct connection via motif out of these four are Frozen Confidence and Crystallized Intelligence, barring the heartbeat-like instrument seen in all four of these tracks and Shutdown Failure.
its crazzy what Gabe started when he made VALV and they made half life and portal now those games are the life blood of innovation inc then people got inspired to make pinewood and the others no one cares about and that's how this all started
I find it interesting how there is almost a sort of "heartbeat" in the tracks that take place during the freezedown. They don't seem to appear at any other point throughout the entirety of the soundtrack (I couldn't find them during the tracks for the zombie ending, meltdown, warhead, the true ending, or the truth). I'm guessing this is present to demonstrate the chaos of the freezedown and the stress it caused. For all the other events, the scientists or higher ranks knew they could happen, or caused them to happen (as seen with the truth ending). However, with the freezedown, NOBODY knew what was going on (not even ASAS), so everyone was stressed, demonstrated by the subtle "heartbeat" throughout the freezedown songs. or i could be completely wrong, idk i just thought it was noteworthy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have made an entire story using music from many people including you. The story I made was a roleplay story for ERLC and SCP Site Roleplay that I went through with my friend. It was made in a way that it was kinda like its own game, just using other games. Many, many crazy things happened in it. It ended when an SCP containment mission went catastrophically wrong and a black hole was created with the anomaly. An orbital cannon managed to destroy the black hole. At least, thats what my friend would have thought. But the last thing he would experience before the credits is him dying to the orbital cannon as well. And so, Ultramassive then became my credits music since The Part Where He Kills You was my music for the moments that he would attempt to escape the black hole before being obliterated. It would be cool to go through this story idea with him, but it would take loads of programming. And I have nothing to do with the development teams of either of the mentioned games. So that would never happen. I don’t really know why I decided to share this with you, but I did. I hope you enjoyed reading this. Sorry if there were any typos or any of that.
@@C00lsails Some of these roleplay scenarios I’ve been coming up with are starting to come to life. Just recently I did an SCP-5000 Roleplay with someone in Emergency Response: Liberty County, SCP: Roleplay, SCP: Site Roleplay, and Blackhawk Rescue Mission 5. It did be fun.

The name “Ultramassive” of the end song refers to the black hole which used to be the core, Currently in an Ultramassive state.
The slow music also refers to the player’s regret of what they have done, and the voices refer to the lives that were taken in the crisis.
