Hi Lee and Shannon , glad your home safe ! Watched all three parts with great interest . What an adventure ! Too bad for Bonneville . OH WOW for the '32 ! Glad you got what you got ... and what a starting point . Give Dorris a rub behind the ears from us ... she just might care .
Wow, small world -- I'm almost 100% certain you bought this from Dale, since he lived close to London! I used to speak at the church where Dale was an elder. One Sunday, he and his wife brought me home for lunch. I mentioned over the meal that I enjoyed hot rods and muscle cars, and he immediately took me out to the garage to show me this. We hopped in, and he took me for a spin. He also had a fiberglass '32 roadster that he was working on at the time, that, over the years, eventually turned into a very nice period rod. Also had a clone of the Ramchargers High 'n Mighty car. Not sure what happened to either of those cars, but I've got pictures of both this car, and the roadster from maybe 5 years ago. Definitely following your rebuild series on this one! All the best!
Great Tudor, looks like the Hemi Powered chopped Tudor that Dean Moon Raced when He was kid. In my teens I had a coupe in much the same condition, one of those cars where the rain water would spray into the car at 50MPH. But with no interior it didn't matter.
Years ago my brother in law and his best friend bought a 28 Vicky in Ontario, Canada. It took them a week to drive back to Hayden, Idaho. He said he would have to work on something every few miles.
Haha that’s so awesome! When I was younger, my dad and I would buy cars in California and drive them back to Canada. Always made it home, but sometimes so creative road side repairs were needed.
Congratulations on your new 32 👍In Germany you wouldn't drive a meter in a car - the police want to confiscate and shut you down immediately🤣🤣 your buddy Bruce has a really cool '41 coupe, my '41 is still original...I've been looking for some cool fender skirts for mine 😉
Wow , that was an adventure ! . You looked exhausted and stressed out when you got home ! lol . Good to see you made it home safe. Thanks for taking us along.
Wow! New to the channel, got to give Shannon lots of love and credit for driving your rig, and that 32 should have been towed yikes....still watching trying to catch up.
What a trip! The new wheels look awesome too! If it falls in line with what you’ve done to the roadster I can’t wait! Nice job guys, happy your all home in one piece! Been on the side of the road at the ferries multiple times, scary shit
Awesome trip! Glad Shannon is a sport! Most wives would have hopped on a plane.. The drive back on the 32 was my life every day til I learned how to fix my 55 ford. Very relatable, except my girl was pissed😂
Excellent ending to your BIG adventure, thanks for taking us along !!!! I used to drive 900 miles down to Mexico and then 2000 miles through Mexico down to Chiapas which is 150 from Guatemala. Then race all the way back to Texas in the Carrera Panamericana Mexican Road race. On average it took about 17 days and was full of "adventure" and stress but SOOO worth every minute. Glad you made it safely home. Can't wait to see you start improving the 32 !! Those years of Ford trucks were notorious for the "shifter bowl" splitting and then it jumps the key on the shift tube and won't turn the shifting tube that runs the length of the column and out through the firewall. I've bought trucks before that had vice grips on the tube for years for shifting. Hope it's something easy to fix. I've pulled a trailer that big that weighed over 10k and averaged 16 with my 97 12 valve. Change gears or tire size or whatever it needs to keep that engine at 1500 rpm or a little less with the converter locked up while cruising and you will get the best mileage. PS. Shannon is PRICELESS !!!
That’s exactly what broke on the shifter!! Ordered an NOS one yesterday, should be here in about a week and half hopefully. Cool story on the Carrera Panamericana!!
@@LGKustoms those shifter bowls are pot metal so their a little weak to start with but most of them I've seen will last 20 years but they were American not Chinese made. Your a long ways from me and I can't enter Canada but maybe if I'm lucky someday in the future I could get my A model pickup finished and drive to Rod O Rama and meet ya and share all the pictures from Mexico. So get that 32 fixed up 👍
Great adventure video's, enjoyed all 3. Glad you made safely, wasn't sure if you would with the 32. Lots of work needed on the 32, I hope you got it for a decent amount! I can identify with breaking down on a highway with no shoulders, been there done that and it's not a happy place! Thanks for sharing! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed them all! Thanks for watching. In hindsight, we should have found an alternative route off the highway, but I don’t know the Vancouver area well enough
@@LGKustoms young and dumb - yes, when I was 19 I was racing my '35 Coupe at the 1/4 mi marked out on the highway. When we got back to town the cops spotted myself and another guy racing stoplight to stoplight and the chase was on. I got away but the other guy didn't - at least that's what I thought but, I was the only guy in Regina with a butternut yellow '35 Ford Coupe so at 3PM the came a knockin'!
Thanks for taking us along on your adventure! Looked like a lot of fun! Your roadster has inspired me to build my first model A and my first roadster, should be fun…..Super cool 32 but those front fenders need a slight adjustment…….lol!!
Hey Lee, Great coverage of your trip. What a doozy... Wish i had known would have loved to meet you. I am in the Arlington area. I have not met Bruce. Would love some advice that he might possibly help me on. I am building a 1928 Model A closed cab pickup. running a 59AB Flathead and 1937 Ford rear end. Just a hobby builder so i have lots to figure out in my build. I am watching closely to your roadster pickup build. I have not put up a video for a while due to moving and then having a new house built, but plan on getting some new videos soon. Thank you for the info and if ever back in Arlington, Washington would love for you guys to swing in.
@@LGKustoms Awesome! From looking is that run around November? I didn't see an email to contact you for a private message on your LG Kustoms webpage? Would like to give you some contact info so maybe we can chat and if you guys have time ever in the area to swing in. Maybe you can tell me what i am doing or not doing so well :)
Now that's a fantastic project ,good on you! How did you manage to plate and insure it thru icbc with know inspection since it was from out of provence ,I tried but could not until mine was repaired and inspected .have they changed the rule since 2002.
Well that would take all the excitement out of driving my new car home haha And the 32 would not fit in the trailer without dismantling the bed above the roadster, and then repacking the entire trailer.
Disadvantages are the coolest most memorable
See Doris really does care. Glad you both got home safely. Or all of you on your adventures. Keep up the good work enjoyed.Tim
Yes, I guess she did care a little bit that we were home. Haha
Love the adventure videos
As you watch the adventure just gets better so awesome
Thanks for watching!
This is one of the most stressful videos I've ever seen. And I'm at home on the couch! With a nice beverage.
Very well done!!
Haha thanks! I’d definitely do it again!
Good morning!
Thanks for sharing the adventure with us.
Can’t wait to see the upgrades on the 32.
Started on it yesterday!
@@LGKustoms yes with the um custom grill insert lol
What a terrific adventure 👍😎👍
Thanks for watching
you are a brave man
All your stuff lately has been too nice. I'm glad to see you add something janky to the fleet
Gotta remember my roots! 🤣
I enjoyed your article in Canadian Hotrod. Cheers from Hellendale Hotrods.
Awesome, thank you!

That thing looks like a death trap. Good thing you will make it safe again. Congratulations of the new ride, height of the chop looks good to me.
Yea I’m a fan of the chop too!

Someone else mention Dale. I bought it from a guy in Tillsonburg named Thomas, who says he’s owned it since 1989.
@@LGKustoms Yes, same fellow, I've heard others refer to him as Thomas, too. Church I spoke at was Tillsonburg Church of Christ.
You two are the bravest characters I know. Glad your home safe and Doris is home and we look forward to whatever else you three dream up. Well done.
Haha I dunno about brave. We just drove some old cars around. Glad you enjoyed the video Don.

Thanks!
Keep the front fenders - those are sa-weet!!! 😂
They would be cool on a channeled roadster or something. Once they were modified to fit properly haha
Driving the '32 sedan back was epic! No Fear!
Wow , that was an adventure ! . You looked exhausted and stressed out when you got home ! lol . Good to see you made it home safe. Thanks for taking us along.
It was a long trip haha
Dude-you bought a chopped 32 sedan for Model T money??? you are LEGEND!
Did you ever consider putting the 32 sedan in the trailer and driving the roadster? ( great adventure, thank you very much)
Put the 32 in the trailer? Well that doesn’t sound like much of an adventure haha

Probably should have found a back roads way.
Congrats on the Deuce! I love your truck and trailer too!
Thanks Aaron. The truck tows so good!
Great finish to the adventure series. Looking forward to seeing you build the '32. I'm still searching for my "good deal" project.
