Especially kittens need the interactions with other kittens for their development. That's why a good breeder would never give a kitten to people which want to keep it as a single cat. Even my adult cats are still helping each other by cleaning their furs and they love to play together and to sleep arm in arm at their cat tree. It's sad that the highest paid cat of the world has obviously no feline friend.
