That's exactly what i was thinking about "TitanFall" while watching this...Sony we need a game based on this Netflix movie please...with Jennifer Lopez voicing the character! Make it happened Sony!! Especially since you and Netflix are content partners now. 😁
I found it great visually but roughly predictable at points. Narratively, the talks between Atlas and Smith (the Mech) were a highlight. All in all, it was a great way to spend an evening. Probably not going to get an Oscar, but it's definitely not a waste of time.

For some weird reason, I started to wonder what if Charlize Theron, Jude Law and Idris Elba were cast and Guillermo del Toro directed. The visual effects and premise are great. With a little more work on the script to flesh out the characters and selecting the right cast, this movie could have been a big theatrical success.
I watched it and disagree with the negative reviews and I've been watching tons of sci fi movies for several decades. While the movie takes elements from Aliens, Avatar, Knight Rider, Blade Runner for instance, the movie kept me entertained until the ending and managed me to root for Atlas and Smith (her AI robomech). The humor is there but never cheesy like in marvel movies.
She’s not a good singer or even a good person, but I think she is such a good actress. I really think she should stick with acting. Maid in Manhattan is one of my favorite movies.
Yeah, the concept was really original. Hey, what about we rip-off Aliens, in a cheap Aliexpress way, but instead of the creature, the menace will be AI, our Ripley will be Jeny From The Block. Oh and another thing, can we give Miss Lopez that Tina Turner Drunk style, and also please act like you haven’t been able to go to the bathroom for a month, and that shows in your face.

Total american junk film. The actress not very skillful in acting (not professional). The story seems telling us that the "Smith" is somehow different (very human) than other smith units used by earth military force. It's totally non-sense. The only thing good is the CG. Conclusion: It is just a 2-3 line movie.
