I love the comment but it’s not wholly true. I would say African-American men probably had a lot more respect then than they do now, but racism was at an all time high back then. Funny and strange at the same time, isn’t it?

    • @naimabutler8960

That’s not true, it exist then and still does now 2024. This country was built upon it, it’s a very ugly root that runs deep. We need non existent of it, racism.

James wasn’t the only one War was always live. Pfunk was always live .
It was the way the studios did the contracts back in the day. It’s hard to lip sync Funk because it’s Jazz based and the notes are a little different every time it’s played

Papa doesn't talk Papa James Brown plays and he is the hardest-working man who opens many doors for people of color, even rappers sample his music, and when through many obstacles in his life but did not allow anyone to stop him and he had a purpose, James Brown, he accomplishes and made big in Hollywood. I believe that if was still around he raised the roof off the roof to give you some more funky beat. I stay to listen to his music. Rest in peace King you bring the globe all you created during your prime duration hit after hit, your music is the best, and when you heard the James Brown sound you get up and rock to the rhythm. This brilliant man who was a man before his time.
