The Fiber gel is a soft gel and used to protect the natural nails. You would not build an extension with it like you would with our build synergy gel. Fiber Gel works great on fingers or toes. The product itself won't dehydrate the nails, but if you are soaking it off with acetone at every appointment, this could be causing the dryness.
Thanks! I usually actually file off the polish on toes, I use the diamond bit once I get the majority of the color off, and about every 6 weeks but the nails look white sometimes and I don't believe it's from any injury 🤔 definitely isn't a fungus either. After researching it looks like the keratin granulation though
Hi this is fantastic. Can I ask just a quick question. My own nails do grow quite nice. But they always split down the sides. I use crystal nail files, keep them oiled every day. But it always happens. Thank you for any advice you could give.
Can you send a picture on Instagram or Facebook of how your nails split? There could be many different things happening so it's hard to troubleshoot without seeing exactly where and what the nail looks like.
You can definitely use the Fiber Gel for an overlay. Depending on the client and their nails, the Fiber Gel may give them enough strength and flexibility. However, some clients may need the extra "hardness" of the acrylic, so it would depend on the client and their lifestyle.
If you are using regular tips, we recommend keeping them on the shorter, more active length and you may have to build a little more structure to the stress area. They won't have as much strength as an acrylic or hard gel nail will, so we don't recommend doing long enhancements with Fiber Gel.
The Fiber Gel does work really well on brittle/thin nails! We would recommend doing 2-3 thin coats as a base before your gel polish color to build a little structure. If you are just using it for a base coat under your gel polish, you can use any of the Fiber Gel colors, but the original is a nice clean, slightly translucent color that won't interfere with the color you put on top. If you are wanting to use the Fiber Gel for a nude/opaque color instead of gel polish, the Cover Nude or Soft White are pretty options. They will all have the same benefit to the nail, it's just what color you prefer.
Greg mentions that you can use this as a base for gel colors? Would you use this instead of base and than after first cure you go in with the color gel?
The fiber gel is an added protective layer, it doesn’t physically strengthen nails. Acrylic and hard gel do the same thing, so there is no need to do both.
@@youngnailsinc I used Alcohol and the tackiness smoothed out I applied top coat and bomb my nails look fantastic. Thank you for getting back to me.. I’m going to look into ManiQ Cleanse.
So I have a weird question, can you use this like as a buffer underneath putting in like say press on nails? Or doing your nails? Like as a base? If your wanting your nails to grow but also wanting that strength from it and do other things on top?
The fiber gel is an added protective layer, it doesn’t physically strengthen nails. Acrylic and hard gel do the same thing, so there is no need to do both.
I haven’t personally tried it yet under press-ons, but we will and let you know. In the meantime, we like to use our ManiQ base in the tub to adhere the tips if you don’t want to use the glue.
No, just prep the natural nail as usual and then you can apply the fiber gel straight onto the nail. You can either cleanse the tacky layer with ManiQ Cleanser and leave as is or keep the tacky layer and apply a top coat or gel polish.
If you are applying gel polish or gel top coat over the fiber gel then no you leave it. If you are planning on not top coating at all then you can remove the tacky layer with ManiQ cleanser.
If you wanted to add anything on top of the fiber gel then you wouldn't remove the tacky layer after curing. You would go straight into your next product.

My mom has this one nail that for some reason splits and lifts from cuticle line down to the tip. It’s quite painful for her because you can see the tissue underneath. Is this product something that can be used to help protect the nail?
Yes, it is used to help protect the nail .Tracey has had one of her nails split for a little while now while wearing this and has had no problems.
I love the color! 🤩
Oh my gosh!!!! This is exactly what I have been looking for !!!! Thank you guys so much!
Can you put builder gel over this?
The fiber gel is an added protective layer, it doesn’t physically strengthen nails. Acrylic and hard gel do the same thing, so there is no need to do both.
Who makes the music for your videos? They give me so much serotonin when I listen to rhem
I've been waiting for this my whole life! PLEASE sell this to the public, not just licensed nail techs! 🙏🥰🙏
They do sell to the public. You just need to set up an account with them. No license required.
@@michelleoss-payne9641 I di have an acct with them but some of their stuff is for licensed nail techs only, unless that's changed! Thanks!👍😁
@@janecotelos2240 I've been using their products before I became licensed, which was two years ago. So, it's been a few years that they've sold to the public. Not sure how long you've had an account, but give it another try. I've never been restricted from buying their products, licensed or not. Good luck!
@@michelleoss-payne9641 Thank you so much!
@@michelleoss-payne9641 They used to be a pro only brand. They started selling to the public a few years ago.
Just used this today! I'm obsessed!
Will it act like Caption base to use with slick pour instead?
I would like to know this too!
The only thing that they have mentioned that this can go with is a gel nail polish over top.
I wouldn't, it’s much thicker than conversion base and won’t absorb the slickpour powder same way. If you are really wanting to use this and then a certain slickpour color, you can apply a thin layer of the fiber gel, then conversion base, then slickpour.
Where can l order that product
Lord I, trying this for the 1st time LO AMO I LOVE IT ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Greg & Tracy for this tutorial. Also, notice Ray’s Flaves shirt 👕 love it !will this be new merch ?
Looks amazing.
CANNOT wait to get my nails on this one! 🙌🏽
can you apply acrylic over this so you can strengthen your clients nails while still giving her the enhancements she wants?
he said you can use it as a base coat
I wouldn’t put a base of gel under acrylic.
Wouldn’t recommend using this product as a base for acrylic.
The fiber gel is an added protective layer, it doesn’t physically strengthen nails. Acrylic does the same thing so there is no need to do both.
Hi does it come in clear?? Do I apply a gel polish basecoat before gel polish color? Thx,
No, at the moment it only comes in the one color. No, you can go straight into apply your gel polish after curing the fiber gel.
Wow, I need this product yesterday! Looks like a serious game changer!
Do you recommend just one single layer if we are going to gel polish over it?
No, you can do 2 coats if you need it. You can do thin coats or float it for thicker ones.

You guys really did something this is awesome. Can’t wait to purchase this.
Love this 💕
If you apply it thick- like, does that increase chances of breaking?
You can apply in thin layers or float it a bit. Here is a video for you: th-cam.com/video/McvVnrFm6vI/w-d-xo.html
Can anyone confirm if this is recommended/ safe for toenails? The base polish I've been using in toes has been dehydrating them badly 😬
Love it 💖💅
*adds to cart** 😍
Hi this is fantastic. Can I ask just a quick question. My own nails do grow quite nice. But they always split down the sides. I use crystal nail files, keep them oiled every day. But it always happens. Thank you for any advice you could give.
Can you send a picture on Instagram or Facebook of how your nails split? There could be many different things happening so it's hard to troubleshoot without seeing exactly where and what the nail looks like.
Can I use this instead of doing an acrylic overlay on really long natural nails?
You can definitely use the Fiber Gel for an overlay. Depending on the client and their nails, the Fiber Gel may give them enough strength and flexibility. However, some clients may need the extra "hardness" of the acrylic, so it would depend on the client and their lifestyle.
Can you use regular tips with this fiber gel?
If you are using regular tips, we recommend keeping them on the shorter, more active length and you may have to build a little more structure to the stress area. They won't have as much strength as an acrylic or hard gel nail will, so we don't recommend doing long enhancements with Fiber Gel.
I’m so excited for this! 😍
Question 🙋🏻♀️ if your nails are weak already and we apply this, would it make the nails harder or would they still bend 🤔
@@youngnailsinc thank you!!
Is it a soak off gel? I'm curious since it doesn't need a topcoat it's not porous?
It is a soft gel and can be soaked off.
Greg mentions that you can use this as a base for gel colors? Would you use this instead of base and than after first cure you go in with the color gel?
Yes and yes.
Can manicure gel fiber be used on natural nail then followed by acrylic
The fiber gel is an added protective layer, it doesn’t physically strengthen nails. Acrylic and hard gel do the same thing, so there is no need to do both.
Literally so excited to buy and try this!!
My question is what do you use to wipe the nails when finished applying fiber gel??
We recommend using ManiQ Cleanse to remove the tacky layer from Fiber Gel.
@@youngnailsinc I used Alcohol and the tackiness smoothed out I applied top coat and bomb my nails look fantastic. Thank you for getting back to me.. I’m going to look into ManiQ Cleanse.
How much do you reccomend charging for using this for a service for clients?
We recommend charging at least as much as an overlay.
OK, but CAN we build with it, if we want to add a little structure and shape?
No, it is a soft gel. It is not for building.
How do you take it off? How do you fill this product?

th-cam.com/video/5uk4BRnmF0c/w-d-xo.html
How do you remove fiber gel after 2 weeks or more to reapply for a new manicure using fiber gel for new manicure?
You can fill the fiber gel or you can remove with an e-file or soak off.
Do I have to remove the mani-q keratin after my client comes back for a polish change?
You can fill it or remove it completely.
Do you have to do anything to put gel
on top? Like buffing it alittle or do you just put the fiber gel then leave the tacky coat on then gel on top?
No, just prep the natural nail as usual and then you can apply the fiber gel straight onto the nail. You can either cleanse the tacky layer with ManiQ Cleanser and leave as is or keep the tacky layer and apply a top coat or gel polish.
Can i put color gel polish over it and use it as a base?
Yes you can. You can go straight into applying the gel polish color after curing the fiber gel.
Do you use swipe or maniq cleanser
We recommend using ManiQ cleanse.
Greg, no top coat needed with this product?? Cannot wait to try this for my natural nail clientele
You can, but you don't need to. You can cleanse with ManiQ cleanser after curing and then be done.
@YoungNailsInc Do I need to wipe the dispersion layer from the second coat of keratin with fiber gel before applying gel polish?
If you are applying gel polish or gel top coat over the fiber gel then no you leave it. If you are planning on not top coating at all then you can remove the tacky layer with ManiQ cleanser.
This product is a must have!!!!
Is the citrus cuticle oil sticking around thru Christmas???? I need it 🥺🥺🥺
It will be a permanent product.
@@youngnailsinc AWWWWWW YEAHHHHH 🥰🥰
Hello is this a soft gel and will soak off with acetone or does it need to be filed?
Yes, it is soft gel. It can be soaked off.
Can you use caption conversion, ManiQ, or one step after you swipe?
If you wanted to add anything on top of the fiber gel then you wouldn't remove the tacky layer after curing. You would go straight into your next product.
When will this be in your shop in ireland.
You would need to contact your distributor about that.
