A very calm and inclusive tour. I have always been a huge fan of Trawlers. My opinion is they are so well constructed, excellent fit and finish and a rig that is going to last you decades. I find them to be simply very functional and SOLID.
First time to your channel. I can see why the Still Waters is not for sale. Beautiful, organized, and well taken care of. A wonderful place for enjoying the finer things in life among which are friendship and adventure. Thank you for the tour.
I can see why you’re proud of your boat. It is beautiful. Congratulations and happy boating. I am preparing to get my much less expensive boat but a Nordhaven would be nice.
Thanks for the kind words Darryl. Hope you realize your dream. Northern Marine & Nordhavn's are both very nice, and some fortunate owners find a way to make a good purchase.
Wouldn’t change a thing. Never been jealous of people that can own a nice boat like this, I sure admire them. Beautiful boat to spend the summer on down in Tasmania.
I know them very well, it s the best anchor setup that you can buy.. Not cheap, but security costs money and it s worth every penny esp when you have family on board...
Thanks for taking a look and the nice comment. I'd love to answer your question, but we haven't had a "typical year" yet! Insurance and dockage is easy as they're relatively predictable (25k), but fuel, maintenance, and upgrades are huge variables. I've heard it said that one needs to budget 10% of the boat's value for maintenance and operating costs....and that could be true, but totally dependent on many variables - whether you leave the boat in the slip and perform little to no maintenance, or actively cruise and keep performing upgrades. As a boat ages, it's value may decrease but the maintenance and upgrade costs increase.
Thanks for taking a look and the question Mike. Th black water tank holds 140 gals. Grey water is 100, then automatically pumps out underwater via the dump chest.
Great question Jay! It's around 19' with the mast down but depending on the amount of fuel & water on board, that can change by a couple inches. 3,000+ gallons of fuel & water have an impact on the air draft. But it should still fit under the bridge in Chicago, so the Great Loop is on the Bucket List!
Thanks for the question. I didn't dive into a lot of detail in this quick walkthrough, but the boat is stabilized with ABT-TRAC stabilizers which work very well. We've travelled in the company of other boaters who "had their seat belts on" while we walked around with our coffee cups in hand! And when cornering, the boat doesn't lean either. There's around 15,000 lbs. of ballast centered down low in addition to stabilization so that helps to keep us on an even keel.
Thank you for the nice compliment on Northern Marine. We feel the same as you. One might say they're "overbuilt" - they don't even creak or groan in heavy seas! The builder once told me that every component had to add to the structural integrity of the boat - most joints are both mechanically and chemically bonded. I've seen this first hand! Appreciate your view and comment.

Thank you for the nice comment. We are very happy with this Northern Marine...it has treated us well in so many ways.
Thank you for taking us on board, I greatly enjoyed the tour and found your voice most relaxing.
You're welcome....glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for sharing and thank you for being the best brand ambassador. Seattle Yachts and myself are very appreciative of you and your beautiful yacht!
Thank you Justin.

Spectacular, what a beautiful boat I’m going to enjoy your adventures.
Thanks for taking a look, Paul, and passing along the kind words.
Beautiful boat. I like the layout.
Thank you. Northern Marine packed a lot into a seaworthy 57' hull.
Thank you very nice boat!⚓️❤️
Thank you Stan. Appreciate your feedback.
What a beautiful boat! I would be proud of her if she were mine. You have a lovely home on the water.
Thank you Carl.
Beautiful vessel thankyou for sharing
You're welcome, John. Glad you enjoyed the video.
I love the controls at the stern for backing up.
It makes docking so easy. And even helps to back up to a crab pot float!!!
You have a beautiful boat thanks for the tour
Thank you....great to have you aboard!
Beautiful boat!
Thank you
I Love your ANCHOR Set UP !! 🙂
Thanks. It’s an Ultra 220 lb. with 400’ of 3/8 HT chain and another 250’ of 3/4” line. It lets us sleep well as we never worry about dragging.

Really nice
Thank you for taking a look and the nice comment.
A beautiful yacht.
Where are all the stair railings ?
🥸
Beautiful

Beautiful boat
Thank you.
Very nice boat. It check off most of my list. Hope to get something similar when I retire to cruise the Caribbean.
Thanks Joseph. Every boat’s a compromise in some way. And for most of us, $$$ is a huge limiting factor! Would love to know what else is on your list…
Any chance you could share what your approximate operating costs have been for this in a typical year?(insurance, fuel, dockage etc) Gorgeous boat. 😎

Great boat! How big is the black water tank?

So, what is your air draft now with the mast folded?

@@northernmarineadventures6630 that's exactly why I asked. Was wondering if it is now great loop capable. Great boat, enjoy!
No stabilizers?

@@northernmarineadventures6630 .....Thanks for the reply. I kind of figured that it does have them, but maybe I just missed it. Thanks again.
Lose the music! Please!!
Sure like northern marines products. Very robust. Visually appealing
