The “I love you” was perfect. Billie’s little smile & the breath she released like she was feeling some combo of relief & awe that he felt the same way she did was so well played. It’s nice to see her this happy. They just fit so well together as a couple and a family with Gigi. It was especially meaningful bc we know Conrad wouldn’t say those words lightly. He was with Cade for a while and never said it to her. This was the perfect way to end the season & while I hope they get renewed bc Amy shared some great story ideas if they don’t this gave us closure.
Its been Billie listening, supporting, nudging and silently loving Conrad! She's been there every step of his process and he grew to rely on her but I love that in season 6 it was Conrad who made the first move for the kiss, breaking his relationship, hand holding and even declaring his love. Just beautiful

In the shows timeline Nic has been gone almost 6 yrs and Conrad has known Billie like 7yrs. They are the definition of a slow burn.
