    Stormwind has the what we call it in fantasy world - AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF ARMIE. They may win and lose, but at the end of the day, all the other races and creatures combined and multipled by themselves are just less than 1% of the population of stormwind's 7th legion.
    Some say, they are clones, some say, they just have unlimited amounts of armies so they can fail as much as they do and not get deleted.
    At the end of the day, they have thicc plot armor , so everything is irrelevent.

    • @Kristers_K
      @Kristers_K 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Ye, i keep killing those 7th legion mobs in masses easily since they are so weak, but they just keep respawning all the time. Sure they have some cloning machine in Stormwind or something. :P

    • @Dorimen17
      @Dorimen17 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Such is the nature of an MMO. Blizzard has to make sure that each faction seems balanced and thus, having one faction suffer from issues over manpower just isn't going to be implemented. You can call that plotarmour but you can't say it's something that exclusively benifits humans. Of course, that is the technical explanation for the seemingly endless armies of both Stormwind and Orgrimmar. If you were to give an in-universe explanation for the numerical superiority of humans, it would likely be the fact that human lands are far better suited for agriculture, which means they can sustain a higher population. Along with this, humans are shortlived, compared to other races, which also means they have kids more often and raise them faster than most other races. That being said, in BfA, Blizzard has stated that the reason the Alliance sought to bring Kul Tiras into the Alliance, is their navy. Stormwind may not seem like it lacks manpower, however, we have a clear case on our hands where they clearly lack ships and sailors. Hey, it's not much but it's something.
      As for unrealistic numbers, I think the Horde is by far worse sinners in this than the Alliance. Most of the Horde's races are supposed to be a loosely connected band of outcasts, yet they can produce armies that can stand up to the Alliance? The Orcs are made up of primarily the survivors of the 1st Horde, after the internment camps and what not. Most of the Frostwolf clan stayed with Drek'thar in Alterac, the Blackrock stayed with the sons of Blackhand, the Warsong mostly sided with Garrosh and were almost wiped out in the rebellion and the Dragonmaw suffered the same fate. How are the Orcs able to continually produce armies with all these losses? The Tauren and Trolls are even worse. They're literally a single tribe, the Bloodhoof and Darkspear. I don't care how large a tribe that is, you can't expect a tribe to produce the same amount of soldiers as the unified kingdoms of humans, dwarves or elves. The Blood elves lost 90% of their population and, to our knowledge, still hasn't fixed their city up yet from the Scourge invasion. They also lost some of those that survived the invasion when Kael'thas split off or the High elves chose to stay with the Alliance or, the latest loss, when the Void elves sided with the Alliance. The Goblins are a single cartel who survived the loss of Kezan (pending). The only race, in the Horde, who logically could supply the Horde with numbers, is the Forsaken. Even so, the Forsaken are supposed to rot away and, much like the Scourge, they rely on continually raising new corpses to fight for them. Which brings up the question of why those newly raised would choose to fight for the people that killed them but that's a different topic.

      Last I checked the Kingdome of Stormwind was destroyed several times. Last I checked the survivors of Stormwind fled to Lordaeron, later to return and rebuild stormwind, while Lordaeron got completely destroyed. Last I checked after the greatest human architects built Stormwind, did not get payed for their effort, only to end up creating the Defalius Brotherhood. Last I checked due to the constant war mongering of the Kingdome of Stormwind, a large portion of it's population ended up homeless in Westfall and the zones around it.
      Last I checked Westfall is an almost Civil-war zone and Duskwood is no different. Lakeshire is not far from it. Last I checked 7th legion was on the Northrend front on the Gilnean front in Kalimdor and several other places during the same time frame. They don't need a Navy, humans magically appear when the plot needs it. The same way they magically had no problems with Stormwind literally burning when we saved Talanji.
      P.s. the horde argument is legit, tho one orc can crush 10 humans EASY CLAP

    • @Dorimen17
      @Dorimen17 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@filipfenix I don't really get your fascination with the "last I checked" phrase but to each their own, I suppose. The Kingdom of Stormwind was destroyed by the Horde during the First War, you're correct in that statement. As you pointed out yourself, the majority of the civilian population of Stormwind fled to Lordaeron after that, thus meaning they still had a significant population when they eventually returned and rebuild their kingdom. The humans who were killed during the sacking of Stormwind were mostly soldiers who had volunteered to stay behind in a suicidal defense of the city, alongside king Llaine Wrynn. I can't recall any other times when Stormwind was destroyed so I don't quite get what you mean by "several times". Deathwing torched the park district and Zul set fire to a few buildings which was almost immediately put out by the Stormwind city guard, which was already mobilised and present in the streets. Plus, they also had help from Jaina Proudmoore, who specialises in frost magic.
      (Edit) I should also probably mention that today, not only humans who were born in Stormwind live there. Stormwind has a large population of humans who survived and fled from the fall of the other human kingdoms, such as Lordaeron, Alterac and Arathor.
      The Stonemason Guild that rebuild Stormwind was not paid for their work, correct. However, I think you're overestimating the amount of humans present in a single Guild. These humans went out to form the Defias Brotherhood, who prayed on mostly unguarded farms and villages because they knew they didn't have the numbers to take on any significant garrison, at least, until the incident with Edwin's daughter during Cata. Both of these uprisings were put down by the Alliance simply paying mercenaries to go into the Deadmines to put the revolt down, thus leaving plenty of time for the farmlands of Westfall and Elwynn forest to recover. I think portraying the revolt in Westfall as a civil war is to blow the uprising way out of proportions. The Defias used mercenaries and pirates to fill their ranks, after all. It's true that a large portion of Westfall's population are extremely poor due to the wars the kingdom has had to fight, however, I feel like your use of the word "warmongering" is suggesting that Stormwind was the aggressor in these wars, which is ridiculous.
      Duskwood has problems with feral worgen and the work of a single necromancer in Ravenhill. These problems have all been tackled by the militia of Darkshire and a couple of mercenaries. How could you call this a civil war when no human is revolting against the king in this entire area?
      Redridge's only problem is the presence of Blackrock orcs left over from the original orc invasion, controlled by a single black dragon. Lakeshire is well protected and has more than contained the orcish threat after the events of Cataclysm, without suffering from a single attack. You see it for yourself as a Horde player during next patch's Saurfang questline. The Humans have Redrigde completely under control and aren't even suspecting any danger in the area.
      You could say the same about any of the Horde races in the game. As I mentioned, due to it being a game, there are exactly as many humans and orcs as Blizzard needs there to be, however, at least there are valid explanations for why there're so many humans present. The Northrend offensive did not take place within the same time frame as the invasion of Gilneas so I don't know what you're suggesting there. The 7th Legion is the Alliance's elite force, made up of not only humans but the best soldiers from each race within the Alliance, so I don't see why they wouldn't have enough numbers to be present on several fronts at once.
      In regards to your "P.s.", your argument for an Orc being able to kill 10 humans easily is supported by what exactly? What makes you think that an Orc that attacked 2 humans at once wouldn't simply get stabbed through the back by a spear while he focused on the other human? Orgrim Doomhammer lost a 1 vs. 1 duel with Turalyon and was later killed by a single human knight when he was charged into by the mounted knight wielding a lance. This is, of course, assuming that the Orc won't simply get shot in the head by a bullet if he foolishly decides to charge the frontline. "Easy Clap" as you would put it.

Calia Menethil for Lordaeron, Thoras was raised but clearly no ties to his former kingdom but there's Danath Trollbane, Genn is still alive, Katherine Proudmoore for Kul Tiras, Jaina Proudmoore as Antonidas' apprentice basically adopted daughter, the only kingdom that is truly lost is Alterac with no Perenoldes remaining I think and even if so the history of that kingdom is trashed

      @Thomas Mathieu That is simply your narrow Point of view, you spawn of the void!
      While humans are among the best, the MIGHTY ORCS are an unstoppable force on the planets of Azeroth and Draenor. In secret the Orcs of the Horde have built an army of mages so vast even the endless numbers of the burning legion stand NO chance.
      So Think again Before you enter the mortal domain of TH-cam, or you will regret ever leaving your master Void Lord's side!

      Aegwynn, Medivh, Jaina, and Khadgar. But nowhere is it specified how any of them hold up to Azshara, either in her prime or now

    • @monkpawfire
      @monkpawfire 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      azshara in the past was super powerful cuz of the well in her backyard and now cuz of N'zoth, the humans above were more of their own with some exceptions, even in the troll wars, the human mages were the strongest, they are just drawn to arcane

    Humans are the most powerful race for they control the World of Warcraft itself!
    For us Warcraft is mere game, hosted on our servers!

      @@MGoJr I am not denying the fact that Dwarves are strong, but Taurens would wipe their asses with the Dwarves anytime they want you know that right? In case you didn't knew, Orcs are also have conquered the whole Khaz Modan Region from the Gnomes and Ironforge Dwarves, later both the Blackrock Spire and Blackrock Mountain from the Dark Iron Dwarves. Dragonmaw Clan also burned so many Wildhammer Clan members with the Red Dragons on the Second War, until Gul'dan's betray.
