What a landing 7/8. THe Thud is a pretty cool aircraft. During Vietnam it was the work horse for the Air Force. It was the aircraft the sam hunters, the wild weasels, used and it also required there to be new faster tankers since the tankers at the time fly close to the Thuds stall speed.
I miss the old days of Arma and such ;-;
I miss the old days of Arma 3 life servers but now it's just full of trolls
desolation was the last 'blast from the past' that I could experience, didn't think too much of it at the time thinking better and bigger mods were going to come out, oh well
how is it different?

@@noidontthinksolol Yes only certain servers are filled. And no it is not very populated. Go see the total amount of people on line at once. Just because a few servers are full to the rim still only a few thousand play a day.

F-105 has an internal bomb-bay and was capable of delivering nuclear payloads as per USAF requirements during its development. Most of the time, ‘Thuds’ utilized the bomb-bay for fuel storage.
You know on the chernarus redux map there's a secret tunnel under the mountain that you can get to by placing a ladder into the floor. You can fit like 20 large green containers in there, because the 'secret tunnel' under the floor of the cave network is actually the space between the road and traintrack tunnets that go through the mountain between elektro and cherno. Hands down the best place to build a base ever. Has 3 cave entrances (top of mountain, east, and west) as well as a hole in the top of the mountain big enough to land helis in. Can land everything except a chinnuk in that batcave. Had it filled up old SGC server if I remember correctly, and even though the base got raided like 10 times in a couple months, not once did anyone manage to find the secret ladder/tunnel.

Very clever runway. You get godmode from the trader on the coast then survive the bumpy landing.

when I build a base I always have an airway in mind its the best tactic instead of going to trader or unsecured af
Kinda weird to ask on a year old video but anyone else remember the Exile/Arma 3 video where devil shot up some humvee and it drove into a lake.

Well Thud is rugged so it can handle hard landings. It's also mach 2 fighter-bomber with high landing speed and big turning radious .😂
In the trader I saw pavement. Wouldn't you be able to make a runway with that? And probably stops trees from spawning.

I play on this server, but most of the time I have no clue what I should be doing. Is there any way you guys could up the spawn rate of the missions. Also I have no clue how to make money in this server, besides just selling guns and stuff from the spawn points. Overall though it is a fun server and I am enjoying it, keep it up!!

MrPanggs just look up spearhead in any a3 launcher and it is usually the first one to pop up
or you could read the description and join the discord, and these servers are not always in A3L

We have gotten the music to work ingame. Devil cant use the music otherwise he would suffer a copyright strike and the video would be taken down.
Devil I got a military question for you. What is the current STANDARD ISSUE gen. of NVGs? Example: GEN 2, GEN 3, etc.
Probably depends on the branch. The Marines Corps is most likely on gen1 still while the army is on gen10 lololol
The army actually uses the pvs 14 and 7b that was my job in the army to fix them

I have been thinking about getting arma but I do not know if I need the dlc can some tell me if i do or not.
you don't need it to play the game. If you are missing the DLC items though, you cannot use them (DLC guns, vehicles, etc). You will see an icon for the relavent dlc and a command to direct you to the steam store to purchase that dlc. But like i said, the game still runs fine on all servers with no dlc.
Like the other reply you do not require any DLC. However to play on our server, the one Devil's video is from you will need the Apex DLC. Of all of the A3 DLC that is the one I recommend getting as it adds alot to the game as well as access to the Tanoa map.

When I go onto this server I cannot go into 3rd person. Is this just a devil thing or something else?
Third person is enabled for vehicles only
Yes when Devil came on it was just leaving the setup phase thus the first two videos there are no players on and with this one you only saw the players that got on the first day of open play. We put in a script to force 1st Person when not in a vehicle.
Is this single player?
You can play Arma 3 with or without the Unsung mod single player. The version he is playing is multiplayer.

Today I lost 60K on this server, I was basebuilding and The flag I was trying to place spun the fuck out and blew up my heli, I lost so much stuff ita not even funny

I had to look up what a HESCO was but maybe the game developers thought it just looked nicer than having a bunch of half filled sandbags? Or maybe they were just lazy and allowed it from later conflicts in game.
We are working on plans to remove the Hesco barriers that are basic Exile constructions and replace them with the Unsung Vietnam era bunkers, sandbags, and other fortifications.
Is anyone interested in playing Exile with me? It's kinda boring on your own...(Europe)
