What madam saying is when ur reading ncerts for the first time read them while underlining main points and one should make notes in 20-30 pages and for long ncerts in 40 pages.after reading well try to answer the questions at end of each chapter.for geography,polity(indian Constitution at work), economy ncerts must for basic understanding.

Madam I have a doubt that is for history
6th Class NCERT book contains 136 pages.
7th class NCERT book contains 157 pages.
Like this each ncert books contain more than 100 pages are there for only history.
Do I need to read all pages or not.
Please anybody answer to my doubt who are preparing for upsc
