No, for your A mount lenses they offer a new LEA-3 adapter, and depending on which specific adapter for Nikon to the NEX system you have may not support all features. It depends on the adapter. - Yossi

Unfortunately no. The Wi-Fi connectivity between the camera and select smart phones is done via the Sony PlayMemories App, which currently is only offered for iOS and Android phones. They do not offer the APP for WP8. - Yossi

Sony RX-10 looks like a great camera. I own a Sony SLT-A 58. Sony SLT- A58 very good value for money. But : My camera (Sony SLT-A58) "Auto Exposure Bracketing" and "self-timer" at the same time don't working together. Do you have the same problem Sony RX-10? Thanks
The NEX line image quality is comparable to cameras costing over 2k , What I noticed though is the video quality on the Note 3 in 4k is way better than the 7r, to bad it doesn't come with image stabilization or zoom.

B and H Sorry I just found out that new telephoto G lens was only to 200mm, I thought it was the infamous 75-400 g lens just with a NEX mount. I just lost interest in it. Can you tell me if I were to use theSAL70400G2 on my NEX FS700 would I use the LAEA2 adaptor or the LAEA4 adapter since I have the larger sensor in the FS700????

After watching the video I felt like I slept for 15 years and woke up to some Utopian future... Wow, these are some mind blowing cameras. I simply refuse to believe they pack that much innovation. I never considered any non-Canon gear and now I am ready to jump camps...
Actually Sony has some great glass with quality comparable to Canon and Nikon. The problem has been lens selection. Canon and Nikon have a wider variety of lenses covering niche uses.
I love what Sony is doing, I think they are going to change the camera world, and I love to see Canon and Nikon get kicked in the ass, and Leica must be crying, all 3 of these cameras rock, I just wish the A7r had the same focusing as the A7, I also wish Sony used the Olympus in body IS, but It seems like with cameras you can never get everything you want in one camera, 2 questions, if you use an adapter for canon glass, will you have auto focus ? and does the wifi work like a wireless tether ?
So effectively if I want to use my e-mount lenses, it will be more worth upgrading my NEX-5 to a NEX-7. Such a pitty, when I saw this camera was e-mount, I decided it was going to be my NEXt camera :(
Unless Sony comes out with small and light 24-70mm F2.8 and 70-200mm F2.8 not that many photographers will make the jump form their FF DSLR's. Fuji X100s a much cheaper choice with IQ close to A7/R for street shooting vs a A7/R with a fast Prime - Fuji X100s with lens $1299 vs A7 at $1698 without lens - Zeiss 35mm F2.8 is $798 so quite a bit more - So I am waiting for fast F2.8 zooms for the A7/R - do not feel like using such a small body with a current FF 70-200mm F2.8 with an adapter - The adapter Phase detection is quite limited. The X10 is a very interesting camera and will serve well for travel etc.
Sony needs to understand though that it is not just megapixels and the body! Glass, Glass and Glass!!! Skill won't harm either! And nothing digital can replace natural reflection of light! OLED vs. Physics (optics)! Pretty sure the Sony is not going to change the rules! Definitely a great toy, but nothing compared to a MkIII or D800!
This is awesome, but where's the glass? Sony's lenses have never been their strong suit, and with this new system there are even fewer, more expensive choices. Yes, you can get an adapter and use Nikon or Canon glass, but you lose auto-focus and a lot of the system's compact size. I hope this inspires the other companies (I'm looking at you Nikon) to get their acts together though.

These are surely great, especially a mirrorless FF without AA filter is good news. Too bad though that the viewfinder is not on the right side of the cam, but in the middle. This means that my nose will get in the way when taking pictures. I thought Sony had gotten it right when they put the viewfinder on the side on the NEX 7 leica-style, too bad they went back to this fake-slr-prism-design.

Both adapters will work to adapt A mount lenses to the FS700. The LAEA4 adds compatibility for full frame cameras but will still work for other models, including the FS700.
