is this how most Techno Live sets are made? Pre-arrange in Ableton and just improvise with the knobs Live. I have a modular and Tr8s setup, and am trying to get into using them for Live sets. Would appreciate tips from some of the experienced guys.
@@vvvvvv77710 Find your own way, whatever seems to fit your mood. There are no set rules of how it shall be done. You should be able to use what you already got, make some TR8s patterns and jam along, sending triggers and sync it and turn and twist dials, sliders and knobs on the TR and modular
@@vvvvvv77710 not at all!Some lives are made with pre recorded tracks in Ableton,all muted On and the perfformance goes on dance floor demand!Thats a Live Act perfformance,an album as released,tracks were released you have to keep that!Another thing is DJ`s Lives wich they use Ableton as Sync Clock,and use loops on some decks a maschine and another sort of controller like Dub Fire,Loco Dice,Ritchie Hawtckin... You gotta figeura it out whats a Live Acte from a live Dj set Set!!!Lot of DJs quitted the Play tracks to the end to just transition to another track!The techcnology we have,we can do much better than just that nowadays! If you notice, he isnt dancint to the crowd,doing hand heart shapes or throwing cakes,he is IN IT ;)
