I rented one of these for 3 weeks when I was in Istanbul. I was very impressed by how it met all of my needs, the fuel economy, comfort and room we're all beyond my expectations. It is not the most well equipped, but overall it's well put together, interior is attractive very comfortable on the road and the car is easy to drive.
Lodgy may not grab people's attention from its look but it packs one of the finest diesel engine and an addition of 6th gear which improves driving experience. It can easily achieve 100kmph in less than 1900 rpm that makes it supremely quiet during crusing. Overall a practical people mover. Renault should focus on after sale experience, that's where maruti scores high
I own a Lodgy world edition 2016 model. My whole family is very happy and satisfied with the car. It delivers on all fronts. It's a very practical and minimalistic mpv. The cabin is very spacious. One can easily fit 6-7 people in it. We regularly move some large cartons too in it by folding the rear seats. The boot space is amazing if you fold the third row. The mileage too is excellent. We get around 18-19 km/l in city conditions. Ride quality is quite good. Cabin refinement is excellent. It's a good car to go for trips with a large family. Great review guys! :D
true. people simply complain. they mostly complain about the looks and not about the comfort. its an affordable mpv/people movers. im waiting for this car with automatic gear
A night shoot in tough terrain conditions would have certainly been a different experience for your entire crew. Gives way less artistic freedom, which you guys rock it like a boss! Glen is my favourite car features host, you're awesome Glen! Love the vid, love PD :)
A very honest review. Infact I have driven the step way 110 ps and its just excellent. Most people doesn't prefer the European design but to me it looks exceptional. Its amust have car for those who love travelling with your family and it packs in a lot of cabin space to stretch. They could have included climate control and apple CarPlay though. Its the only deterrent.

hi PowerDrift , the car is exceptional when it comes to the ride quality since i feel it is a little soft sprung. but at the end of the day, the reality , it is mostly used as a taxi or just a people mover. but it is meant for that long weekend trip with loads of luggage. this is a live set example of expectations vs reality or rather what it was meant for and what is currently happening with it. :)

At 0:48 the side view & the sea-link. Loved that shot. Before this review I didn't like the Lodgy. But now i find it fantastic. Now that Innova crysta has become costly one can consider this.
Had checked out the vehicle for us in Delhi. It lost on Automatic Climate Control which is a necessity feature here in North India. With Extreme climates a comfy 22℃ set inside throughout the year is what we north indians like.

one of the major problems with lodgy was if u have 8 adults.. the rear almost seems to touch the tyre.. in fact on a bump I m sure it does.. like the enfeild.. have they rectified that???

Espace could be very costly and I don't think Renault can compete with the segment leader innova with a similar price tag.. better for them if they could fill up the gap inbetween the muv prices with a good product.. and I don't see the new grand scenic 7 seater to be similar to the ertiga
Renault Lodgy sort of sits in between the Ertiga and the Innova. The BR-V too to some extent competes with the Lodgy in terms of pricing. But the Lodgy has more space and hence is more practical as a 7 seater.
I hate the fact that it has a weird looking AC control panel for the passengers in the middle row. That's the kind of panel you get in cheaper cars. Could've made it a little more plush.
PowerDrift well then guys since we love your songs, rather than saying private, please figure out a way to get them on iTunes or google music. I especially love the endeavour soundtrack. Another option would be to upload tracks on TH-cam for all of us followers. Think!!
Great review as always... Lodgy for some reason is not even a favourite for taxi drivers...not sure why..personally i feel it offers a plush ride for the passengers and has the potential to be the most chosen car for hotels and cab chains to pick up tourists from the airport...
I don't think putting a Nissan march side mirrors on a long and tall car is a good idea lol. Even in my march, I have quite a few blindspots with those side mirrors

The monocoque chassis and almost-similar-mechanicals to the Duster makes this one of the better driving MPVs for sure!

Renault lodgy is very good European brand. It's qualified Ncap 3. Much better than Japanese & Korean dabas.

the stepway comes in only 110ps(6 speed)....the lodgy comes in 110 and 85ps.
i like this car very much. but it doesnt have automatic version. i dont know why its not included.
